Addressing the Chronic Disease Epidemic
Policy should focus on unacknowledged factors like the contaminated water/food supply and childhood hyper-vaccination, while continuing to tackle classic risk factors.

As of 2014, approximately 60% of American adults suffered from at least one chronic disease, 42% had at least two, and 12% lived with five or more. In 2019, over half (53.8%) of young adults aged 18–34 reported at least one chronic condition, while nearly a quarter (22.3%) reported living with multiple chronic conditions.
