FDA Draws Criticism Over Call for New Omicron XBB Booster

As the 18 month protracted Omicron wave winnows down, nearly all Americans have had COVID-19 illness at least once and in some cases many times. Once through the Delta or Omicron wave of illness, a subsequent infection carries zero risk of hospitalization or death. That is the reason why hospitals have been empty for two years. Yet the FDA recently called for vaccine manufactures to develop an Omicron XBB variant booster.
