Nord Stream pipeline sabotage, Matt Taibi wins new journalism award, and another unexpected death of a prominent 44-year-old
Perusing recent events, the following three stories jumped out at me. First, I was happy to see that Matt Taibbi, Bari Weiss, and Michael Shellenberger have won the inaugural Dao Prize for excellence in investigative journalism for their reporting on the Twitter Files reports. The Washington Post just reported that a Ukrainian special operations colonel played an instrumental role in the Nord Stream pipeline sabotage.
Variety just reported that Kevin Turen, ‘Euphoria’ and ‘X’ Trilogy Producer, Dies at 44. The cause of death is not yet known.
