At a recent event in Los Angeles, a man disguised as a U.S. Marshal and armed with multiple semi-automatic pistols and magazines showed up and demanded a meeting with presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. Fortunately, Kennedy’s private security, provided by Gavin de Becker and Associates, identified the man as an intruder and detained him without violence.

The incident reminded me of the singularly bizarre fact that the Biden administration refuses—in outrageous violation of a tradition established when Robert F. Kennedy Sr. was assassinated—of the incumbent presidential administration to provide other presidential candidates with security. The tradition is based on the concept of free and fair elections, unimpaired by intimidation.

Gavin de Becker has assembled a team of top security professionals to protect the presidential candidate. It is extremely demanding work that requires hyper-vigilance, focus, and organization. Such skilled and hardworking professionals do not work for free. Consequently, RFK, Jr. has had to spend 30% of his campaign financing on security.

I was already aware that the Biden administration has less class than a second-tier Bossier City casino operator. Even so, I still find it unfathomable the president refuses to extend this time-honored courtesy to Kennedy.

Though I prefer restraint and avoiding unwarranted speculation, I’m going to go out on a limb with this one. I suspect that Biden’s dirty machine would like Kennedy to be subjected to as much insecurity as possible, thereby bleeding him of resources and the mental composure that comes with safety.

Biden’s people know that Kennedy has a large family and a wife who must be reassured of her husband’s safety. What better way to deplete the candidate’s energy and mental tranquility than to leave him exposed to the danger that resulted in the violent deaths of this uncle and father?

Gavin de Becker just published an account of the incident, and he concludes with an extraordinary plea to everyone who cares about fair elections to make a donation to help finance Kennedy’s security.

It seems to me that even people who do not intend to vote for Kennedy should consider making a donation. Think of it as making a small contribution to preserving a civilization regulated by law, decency, fairness, and honor—as distinct from the shabby ruthlessness of a two-bit mafia hood.

I am not surprised at all. The Supreme Court Justices were not protected from the mobs outside their homes either!

It appears the Biden administration has concluded that dealing with the aftermath of assassination of RFK Jr is preferable to dealing with his candidacy.
