A 2021 paper in the "European Heart Journal" provides additional grounds for considering subclinical vaccine-induced myocarditis as a possible contributing factor to Damar Hamlin's cardiac arrest.
Subclinical myocarditis is most certainly being entertained in young Damar's ICU by the house staff and the attending. However these details will not be leaving the hospital and their PR person will dismiss this outright. The ramifications of this differential dx are larger than huge. Nearly the entirety of the NFL players are vaccinated, same for NBA, same for MLB, same for NHL, same for NCAAFB - the list goes on down to highschools - every team doctor is getting ready to go nuts ordering b/w, ecg, echo, hell maybe an MRI to look for cardiac inflammation - oh no, this won't stand
There is much speculation about what could have occurred. One way to rule all of it out is to simply stop mandating young,healthy athletes take an experimental jab for a respiratory virus with a 99% recovery rate, just like every other cold or flu. That is what is so infuriating to me, the mandates, which are unethical. Anyone involved in the coercion is a criminal in my opinion.

I hear you BUT do the athletes or anyone who wants the engage in strenuous activity....a cardiac echo is so easy to do....but not readily available in small towns. You really should be able to have an experience tech who send the results to a cardiologist at a distant site...so it is possible for an entire football/soccer/basketball teams male/female to complete in timely manner. BUT this Admin does not want to see the results...for it would end their control scheme....just further proof that all COVID vaccine issues are controlled by politics and NOT our safety.

I have a theory about why this is the first major pro athlete we've seen this happen to. LOTS of cardiac events in lower tier athletics, but not a single one in any of the major sports. All the major pro sports teams gave the vaccines to their players in the team facility. I think that extra care was taken to make sure that the less toxic batches of vaccines were distributed to pro sports medical departments. Something as visible as last night is going to make a LOT more people ask questions...something those orchestrating this whole thing definitely would not want. Television is a uniquely powerful thing.
But why Damar Hamlin then? Well, he was drafted by the Bills in 2021. He was still a senior at Pitt when the vaccines were launched, and he wasn't with the team til July. He probably went down to the CVS and played the adverse events lottery with everyone else...and lost :(
This is just a theory, but there has to be a reason we haven't seen more of this based on what we're seeing in the broader population.

Not saying this football player had scarring or vaccine injury. But, Isn't this one of the reasons several school districts in the US required ECG's for their sports program in 2021?
Not sure an ECG alone would find subclinical myocarditis, but there was a concern for a young athlete's health.
As I was watching this go down last night, the announcers were all about how much they care for Hamlin. If that's the case, one would think that they would try to find out what really caused the issue. Alas, as things progressed, the first thing that we heard this morning was that this could not have possibly been a result of the vaccine. So they basically just threw that possibility out without even entertaining it as a possibility.
need experts to comment on this: isn’t there a distinction between ‘simple’ cardiac inflammation and the apparently vax-related condition with associated amyloid tissue growth in the cardiac muscle? Are we amassing autopsy data, maybe?
What I find extremely interesting is At the point of blunt force trauma (watch Damar and all those other soccer videos that are now common) the player does not seem to have an immediate pain response to the point of impact. (no hands rush to the sight as most humans have rapid pain)
Damar quickly got back to his feet, did not grab his chest (does he not wear chest protection?)
But instead like all these cases after rising back to foot stance do a split second Blackout!

Someone posted a retweet from the doctor who said he gave Damar Hamlin his last mRNA booster on Dec 26th - just one week before his heart attack. The doctor said he was in good health, tests checked out. I wonder how his heart would check out a week later after his booster, before the game?
