Transgender Surgeries More than Double 2016 to 2020
Not Just Men Getting Breast Implants, Disfiguring Genital Surgeries Rise Sharply
By Peter A. McCullough, MD, MPH
The enormous push in academic medicine to enable gender change fantasies exploded since 2016 when the Affordable Care Act mandated that such operations be covered by Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurances.
Wright and colleagues reported from national sources of data that all forms of transgender surgeries have risen sharply since 2016. Overall, 25 099 patients (52.3%) were aged 19 to 30 years, 10 476 (21.8%) were aged 31 to 40, and 3678 (7.7%) were aged 12 to 18 years.
The highlighted procedures in the table are particularly disfiguring and have very high complication and reoperation rates.
In summary, there has been an explosion of transgender surgeries that have been enabled by third party insurance coverage. Because transgender medicine worsens the burden of psychiatric care and increases the risk of mortality, coverage for these procedures should be dropped immediately. A complete moratorium should be placed on transgender medicine until the adverse consequences can be better understood.
In the meantime, natural puberty and the maturation process should handle gender dysphoria in children and non medical social, dress, and cosmetic methods can suffice to satisfy the adult fantasy of living as someone of the opposite gender.

A doctor that will surgically remove a boy’s functioning, healthy penis, or healthy breasts of a girl has committed a crime.
Yale New Haven Hospital has totally gone gender loco. They ask people on their forms, when people seek medical services, if they identify as gay or straight ( kind of intrusive, don’t ya think )?
This politicizing of medicine takes you aback and make you nervous and you wonder: “ is the medicine they practice there centered around science?”
Dr. Oleski is in charge of a gender clinic at Yale. Probably influences medical policy. She has a PHD ( Is that a real medical degree? )
Anyway Yale has gone woke, and it’s unnerving.
