"When do we deploy the new variant?"
Leaked WhatsApp messages reveal UK's psycho clown show.
By JOHN LEAKE
In the spring of 2020, I occasionally met with a friend here in Dallas to discuss what we called “Project Fear”—that is, what we suspected was a PSYOP being run by our government agencies working in tandem with its mainstream media lackeys. We also suspected that SARS-CoV-2 had leaked from a lab and that our government agencies and their lackeys in the academic medical press were concealing it.
Back then, in the spring of 2020, we had none of the documentation that is now leaking out about how our public health authorities in the US and UK handled the crisis. Recent revelations are now confirming my worst suspicions back then.
This morning I reviewed leaked WhatApp messages, exchanged by British public health officials, that were recently published in the Telegraph’s “Lockdown Files.” An especially unsavory character in the Files is the then UK Health Secretary, Matt Hancock—a career Conservative Party politician with no scientific training who’d previously served as the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport.
A leading proponent of strict social distancing and lockdown policies, in June of 2021 it was revealed that he’d violated them by kissing and embracing his mistress, Gina Coledangelo, in his office.
Mr. Hancock’s rules for thee and not for me policy was identical that of Imperial College epidemiology professor Neil Ferguson, whose dire prediction of COVID-19 following the same lethal pattern as the 1918 Spanish Flu was the rationale for lockdowns in the UK, Canada, and Australia. While the people of London were ordered to remain isolated at home, Professor Ferguson had his mistress over for trysts.
Mr. Hancock’s Conservative Party career ended in November 2022, when he announced he would be a contestant in the 22nd UK series of the survival reality television show I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!
The picture that emerges from his WhatsApp messages is that of a man who savors wielding enhanced power over the citizenry, whom he regards as in need of constant manipulation.
If you’d asked me in the spring of 2020 to write a profile of the sort of people running the hypothetical PSYOP I discussed with my friend, I would have described Mr. Hancock—i.e. arrogant, ignorant, unscrupulous, and incompetent in equal measures.
According to the Telegraph:
Matt Hancock wanted to “deploy” a new Covid variant to “frighten the pants off” the public and ensure they complied with lockdown.
His colleague, Cabinet Secretary Simon Case, agreed wholeheartedly. As he put it:
“the fear/ guilt factor” was “vital” in “ramping up the messaging” during the third national lockdown in Jan 2021.
The previous month, Matt Hancock, the then health secretary, appeared to suggest in one message that a new strain of Covid that had recently emerged would be helpful in preparing the ground for the looming lockdown, by scaring people into compliance.
Mr Hancock then replied: “We frighten the pants off everyone with the new strain.”
Mr Poole agreed, saying: “Yep that’s what will get proper bahviour [sic] change.”
The discussion came two days after Mr Hancock was informed of the emergence of a new variant – known as alpha or the Kent variant, in Dec 2020. A surge in cases later led to the effective cancellation of Christmas on Dec 19.
Mr Hancock expressed his worry that talks over Brexit would dominate headlines and reduce the impact, and probed Mr Poole for his media advice. “When do we deploy the new variant?” asked Mr Hancock.
Six months earlier, in June 2020 – when the UK was coming out of its first Covid lockdown – Mr Hancock and Sir Patrick Vallance, the Government’s Chief Scientific Adviser, appeared pleased that a study on the virus’s spread showing it going in a “positive direction” had not received publicity, while a “gloomy” survey had been picked up by the media.
“If we want people to behave themselves maybe that’s no bad thing,” said Mr Hancock in a WhatsApp message. Sir Patrick appeared to agree, responding: “Suck up their miserable interpretation and over deliver.”
It's amazing that people who we knew were bad actors are actually worse than we thought... I'm so disappointed in humanity right now.
No Peter, don't fall for this. This is a classic limited hangout and you should know this well. Hancock was set up from the beginning as the patsy.
THIS WAS NO COCK UP.
You dont get a uniformly identical response across the globe by mistake and stupidity.
