What convinced people that Jesus was indeed the messiah? In large part, it was his performance of healing miracles.
Those healings "set the bar" so to speak for Satan. Ever since, evil has conspired to convince humans that they (pharma, fauci's, etc) have the power to heal. Nothing could be further from the Truth, as is now becoming evident.
The early church was a very small group compared to Judaism, and especially compared to the pagan Roman religion. So not that many people were convinced by the miracles. The common people, especially those benefited by the miracles, liked them for a time. But when Jesus would not use His power for their plans, they rejected Him as the Messiah. (John 6:15, 66)
John the Baptist did not need to see healing miracles to identify the Messiah, nor did Simeon or Anna the prophetess; nor the wise men from the East. When Jesus put Peter to the test, after many left Him, Peter declared the faith of the apostles, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of life." (John 6:68).
Primarily, the miracles of physical healing were supposed to lead people to Christ so that they could be healed spiritually. The physical healings were an outward manifestation of the gospel's power to remove sin.

Food preservation has been around for millenia. Fermented drinks, dried meats and fish, dried or fermented fruits and vegetables. Alcohol seems to be as old as man!. Even eggs will stay fresh on a counter IF they are not washed when collected. I do this with eggs that I get locally asking the owner to not wash them.

Yes, however I am none too sure it is a singular person as much as a ruling body. The statue in Daniel is after all referring to governments that get built up then taken down. Those governments are a form of anti-Christ. As scripture tells us there are many and have always been many that are anti-Christ. I would call the US government an anti-Christ. I'm not sure. I'd understood that the Bible said that there will be a false ruler of the world (or many nations) that people think is great, but that person is the Anti-Christ. Then, after that, I thought it said, we will experience several years of really bad times (maybe famine, plagues, etc.) The Second Coming would then be some time after that? Does that sound familiar to you?
Oh yes it’s all familiar. I do believe that we in the west have been taught from a mainly 20th/21st century perspective instead of a perspective of the 1st century church to which scripture is actually aimed. Meaning that they intrinsically understood the symbolic language because they lived then. I have come to appreciate the teachings of Dr Michael Heiser now deceased and the teaching of Dr Tim Mackie from the bibleproject.com. They have a different take since their studies are Semetic languages and both have a good grasp of that culture.
There are several different scholarly ideas on the end times and I being far from a scholar I do like to read others work. I do recommend the book Reading Revelation Responsibly by Gorman. As well as bibleproject.com for a clearer understanding. God bless and hand in there sister.

Ah, the multi-headed beast written of at the beginning of Revelation 13. The army of the Dragon that goes to make war with the remnant of the woman's seed, that keep the commands of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. This began at the resurrection of Jesus Christ, and will continue until the 7th trump sounds.
The prophecies of Dan 12:1&2 have already begun to be fulfilled. Michael stood up and cast Satan and his out of Heaven and into the earth, as documented in Rev 12. And many saints arose out of the dust of the earth in Matt 27:52&53. Those events were done ‘at the time of the end’ and are part of the ‘time of trouble’ which is the ‘Great Tribulation’. Furthermore, when I look at the word ‘tribulation’ in the Gospels it is spoken of as a future event. After Jesus’ resurrection, ‘tribulation’ is spoken of in the present tense.
Have you considered this? We still have the 3 1/2 years to look forward to with the two witnesses and the beast, that comes from the earth, being empowered.
I will give her a listen. I have studied Daniel and Revelation a lot lately. It appears to me there is a lot of misinformation. First of all, the word 'week' is not 'seven', it is 'sevened'. Look it up in a Strong's concordance. I think the first 69 weeks were 7 year periods, but the 70th 'week' is on Jesus Christ's time. I think it spans from since the resurrection until the 7th trump sounds. This is the only way everything fits, IMHO.

I am no longer a Seventh Day Adventist (except in principle), and haven't been for many years [because the SDA organization is completely soldout to the Beast (the RCC), and is thus completely corrupt and now only part of apostate "Protestantism" (yet NOT its original message, which was, and still is, completely right-on)], but read Ellen G. White's book, The Great Controversy Between Christ and Satan. Get a hold of a copy with the original introduction written by E.G. White herself; read that; then, if you don't want to read the entire book, read the last third of it starting at the end of the historical section, beginning with the explanations of Daniel and Revelation, the prophetic section. That accurately interprets it all.
The 1884 and/or 1888 versions are the best, if you can get them.
Ellen White never expounded the 666 number as "Vicarius Filii Dei". This originated from a Protestant interpretation in the 1600's, and was picked up by some Adventists. There are many reasons why this cannot be the proper interpretation of this number:

I believe the abomination of desolation was set up 1290 days after the daily sacrifice was taken away, in 70 AD. Exactly how it is written of in Daniel chapter 12. That set up date would be 74 AD, after the Siege of Masada, which I believe was the deadly wound to one of the heads of the first beast in Revelation 13. That wound will soon be healed and the enemies of Jesus will start enforcing Noahide laws from the judgement seats in Israel.
Jeremiah 1:13-16 KJV “And the word of the LORD came unto me the second time, saying, What seest thou? And I said, I see a seething pot; and the face thereof is toward the north. Then the LORD said unto me, Out of the north an evil shall break forth upon all the inhabitants of the land. For, lo, I will call all the FAMILIES of the kingdoms of the north, saith the LORD; and they shall come, and they shall set every one his throne at the entering of the gates of Jerusalem, (This is the place of judgment.) and against all the walls thereof round about, and against all the cities of Judah. And I will utter my judgments against them touching all their wickedness, who have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto other gods, and worshipped the works of their own hands.” 1948 should come to mind.
While I realize you can't give a full interpretation in a comment, this idea that the time periods are literal days, is very hard to establish. For one, there are actually three time periods: 1260, 1290, and 1335 days. You must find exact and specific start and end points for all three.
Secondly, the 1260 days are mentioned seven times over Daniel and the Revelation. Twice in Daniel (Daniel 7:25, 12:7 - as "a time, times, and a half") and five times in Revelation (Rev. 11:2, 3; 12:6, 14; 13:5 - as "42 months," "a time, times and half a time," and "a thousand two hundred and threescore days").
If your interpretation is correct, you must be able to apply it to the prophecies in Revelation 11, 12, and 13 also. This will not be easy.

Just going off my poor memory here: (I cannot identify specific events down to the day.)
- I do believe the 1260 days is applicable to the time the two witnesses will be active in Jerusalem. That is a future event that has not yet happened.
- The 1290 days is from the time the daily sacrifice is taken away (history - 70 AD) until the abomination of desolation is 'set up'. The abomination of desolation had to exist in 70 AD because it was in Jerusalem prior to the Christians fleeing.
- The 1335 days I can assign no event to, other than the persecution had to end at some point. If a person got to the 1335 day they were out of immediate trouble. IDK
I think the time described in Dan 7, which is in Chaldee, is 3 1/2 years. The Strong's concordance dictionary does back that up. You can not define 'a time, and times, and a half time' as 3 1/2 years in Daniel 12 or Revelation 12. Look it up.
Most of Revelation 11 is in our future.
Revelation 12 is in our past.
Revelation 13 spans from our past, continuing on from 12:17, and is describing events in our future.
Here are some more thoughts:
Dan 8:12-14 KJV "12 And an host was given [him] against the daily [sacrifice] by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered. 13 Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain [saint] which spake, How long [shall be] the vision [concerning] the daily [sacrifice], and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot? 14 And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed."
Here is a rough translation of Dan 8:12-14 as I see it: And an army was given to the abomination of desolation to take away the daily sacrifice because the Jews were revolting. He was successful. Then I heard one saint ask the other, ‘How long shall it take them to take away the daily sacrifice and to destroy the temple and defeat the Jews’? He answered, ‘2300 days and it will be done’.
'Transgression' was why the Roman army came against the daily sacrifice. Why did Rome destroy Jerusalem? Interestingly it was because they revolted. I think that the word 'revolt' is what the word 'transgression' means. So, when did it start and end? Approximately 67 to 73 AD. How many years is 2300 days?
These events were future to the time when Jesus gave the Olivet Discourse. Remember, TWO questions were asked of Jesus. When shall these buildings be destroyed? What shall be the sign of your coming and the end of the world? Those events are separated by nearly 2000 years now.
One of the beast’s heads received a deadly wound by the sword. I believe it was at the end of the 2300 days with the event named, The Siege of Masada. This would also be the time Dan 12:11 was fulfilled, “And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.” The first ‘successor to Peter’ was a Roman named Linus. What that office has done completely lines up with the description of the ‘abomination that maketh desolate.
I can find no one else that sees things as I do. What I do know is that I'm not a somebody. I'm a maintenance man. The only book I've really studied is the Bible. I owned a locksmith service for 14 years and churches have to change their locks often. Pastors never wanted to have a discussion about Scripture. All I know is I put ALL of my faith in the Word. Jesus says, "Buy of me gold tested in fire." Where's his store? I say it is His Word. Do you buy that?

Okay, I looked it up. Here it is:
Revelation 12

14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.
The events are the same. In one place it is 1260 days, in another it is 3 1/2 times. Therefore the periods are identical. 3 1/2 years (of 360 days each) = 1260 days. I fail to see what is so difficult about this, unless you have a predisposition to deny something because it does not fit in with your other interpretations.
The day-year principle is well established. It is found in the prophecy of Daniel 9:25-27. It was also accepted by a whole host of interpreters through the last 1000 years or so. See Froom's "Prophetic Faith of Our Fathers" especially the last 2 volumes for all the historical references.
I'm not going to go 'round and 'round with you, but you supposedly don't have time to read a relatively-short section of E.G. White's great book that would blow your frigging mind, yet you have time to read all kinds of other things, and to come up with your own misinterpretations of Daniel and Revelation, etc. Whatever, I don't have time for people who reject truth and deceive people.
The same goes for the false beliefs of Frank Zimmerman, too; although, he is closer to correct than you are by far. And, Frank, contrary to the so-called "proof" that you provided supposedly making the interpretation of the RCC being the Beast of Revelation 13 "false", the latter interpretation most-definitely IS the correct one. Also, all of the "day" time periods are fully and correctly explained by Ellen White; thus, if you were truly led by the Holy Spirit, and truly had only God's discernment, and you recognized that, there would be no more need for speculation and supposition about it. It all becomes quite clear and falls into place once you recognize it, stop rejecting truth, and are completely set free by that truth. You can't truly prove "wrong" what is proven correct.
Pray for God's Gift of Discernment, both of you, and all those others who are interested, receive it, and be shown the truth of what is to all others a stumblingblock for those not truly led by God through Jesus the Christ to be sent a strong delusion to believe lies and false interpretations of God's Word(s), as the Apostle Paul made quite clear happens with most interpreters thereof.
Of far more concern was White’s aberrant view of death, hell, and eternal punishment. Adventists adopted several key tenets including one stating that God does not eternally torment sinners, but that the dead enter into soul-sleep until the second coming and last judgment. At that time the punishment for sinners will be that they cease to exist.
White held that a God of eternal wrath must be incompatible with a God of love and kindness. In The Great Controversy she wrote, “How repugnant to every emotion of love and mercy, and even to our sense of justice, is the doctrine that the wicked dead are tormented with fire and brimstone in an eternally burning hell; that for the sins of a brief, earthly life they are to suffer torture as long as God shall live.”
She also believed that God would simply annihilate the souls of those who did not follow him. “But I saw that God would not shut them up in hell to endure endless misery, neither will He take them to heaven; for to bring them into the company of the pure and holy would make them exceedingly miserable. But He will destroy them utterly and cause them to be as if they had not been; then His justice will be satisfied. He formed man out of the dust of the earth, and the disobedient and unholy will be consumed by fire and return to dust again.”🚩🚨🆘🤌
"Truth (Does) Win(s)" in the end, that's for sure, but it is false teachers like this commenter who should be fled from with all due haste, not Ellen White or people like myself and the truths we espouse. What we teach will only expand on your nothing-but-correct understanding of God's Word(s). I don't have any pride or ego, but believe that I am one of the worst of all sinners, as the Apostle Paul believed he was (of course, before he was converted to Jesus the Christ, he as a Jew worked with the Roman government to mass-murder Christians in the thousands; so, though he was transformed into a completely new person who no longer perpetrated any such evil, he no doubt, in his humility, still had feelings of guilt over all the unrighteous things he had done before he came to know the Messiah and to be totally transformed by Him into a Truly, Fully and Completely righteous person).
So, I fall WAYYYYY short, and I'm conscious of that every day. I don't believe that my discernment and being guided by the Holy Spirit makes me ANY better than, or at all superior to, anyone else, and I am painfully aware every day that I am still a sinner, and deserving of nothing but God's destruction. Thus, I don't at all feel special for what I know and share, but humble myself before God that I am blessed by Him to be "a rock crying out". But, if Jesus the Christ were walking this earth today in the flesh, because of His telling it like it is in no uncertain terms, you would undoubtedly think Him 'prideful' and 'lacking in God's love', and would criticize Him for his 'delivery' and of only 'intellectualizing' with no humility. Or you would feel the same or similar about one of His apostles and/or disciples if they were walking the earth in the flesh today. Correcting the mistaken beliefs of believers, is one of the primary duties of His disciples.
Therefore, please believe me that it is nothing but the truth when I say that I take NO delight, or feel ANY superiority, in crying out with the Truth. I feel completely unworthy to do so, and I try to just let God through Jesus the Christ use me as He sees fit. They must entirely recognize and confess that they are completely-awful sinners who have only sought their own will and way(s) all of their lives up to that point, and be Truly, Fully and Completely sorry for it, and then be so completely transformed into the character of God that they will NO LONGER seek their own will and way(s) anymore WHATSOEVER, but will from then on ONLY Live God's Will and Way(s) through the infilling and COMPLETE TRANSFORMATION of His Grace IN THIS LIFE; for later at glorification it will be much too late. The ONLY thing that takes place at glorification, that hasn't already taken place during our lives on this earth if we have Truly, Fully and Completely repented, is the transformation of sinful flesh into immortal, nothing but holy, flesh. Their characters, if they Truly, Fully and Completely repented, will have already been made COMPLETELY holy and immortal PRIOR TO GLORIFICATION.
THAT is how people "will know we are (TRUE) Christians", through our being completely infilled with that Love via God's nothing but Holy Character having completely transformed us into same here and now. Short of that, we will not TRULY have God's Love, either for ourselves or anyone else, whatsoever; and, as a result, all such people will just as much lose their souls for all eternity as all unbelievers will. One MUST be a COMPLETE believer in God's Power, in His "Allpowerfulness", AND BE COMPLETELY TRANSFORMED BY IT, in order to be Truly, Fully and Completely saved into God's kingdom, both spiritually and physically. I believe I have answered your question, haven't I? Think of it this way, as Satan having counterfeited everything of importance, particularly in connection with God's Word(s), Will and Way. To detract from God's Truth, to get most believers to believe in false interpretations of His Truth, and to get them to worship a false version of Christianity as "the 'truth'", he created the RCC. Look at how successful he has been with it. He's gotten most people on earth, who don't believe in Islam, etc., to believe in Catholicism, or a "Protestant" version of Catholicism, a mixture of some Christianity and Paganism, etc.; or, in the the case of "Protestantism", a mixture of "Protestantism" and Catholicism.
Look at how he's gotten most believers to worship on a completely-false day of worship that came from sun god worship, Sunday, the counterfeit of the Sabbath, the TRUE Lord's Day, Saturday, and the true worship day of God's Fourth Commandment (which the RCC very conveniently and evilly removed from the RCC version of the Bible). Thank you for a thoughtful article. There are obviously many differing opinions about this. God will be the judge of all in the final analysis. There are saints and sinners in the RCC just as there are in Protestant denominations. Our responsibility is to humbly follow Scripture (Sola Scriptura, Sola Gracia, Sola Fide, Sola Fide, souls Christus and Soli Deo Gloria) and not glorify any human.

What convinced people that Jesus was indeed the messiah? In large part, it was his performance of healing miracles.
Those healings "set the bar" so to speak for Satan. Ever since, evil has conspired to convince humans that they (pharma, fauci's, etc) have the power to heal. Nothing could be further from the Truth, as is now becoming evident.
The early church was a very small group compared to Judaism, and especially compared to the pagan Roman religion. So not that many people were convinced by the miracles. The common people, especially those benefited by the miracles, liked them for a time. But when Jesus would not use His power for their plans, they rejected Him as the Messiah. (John 6:15, 66)
John the Baptist did not need to see healing miracles to identify the Messiah, nor did Simeon or Anna the prophetess; nor the wise men from the East. When Jesus put Peter to the test, after many left Him, Peter declared the faith of the apostles, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of life." (John 6:68).
Primarily, the miracles of physical healing were supposed to lead people to Christ so that they could be healed spiritually. The physical healings were an outward manifestation of the gospel's power to remove sin.

I'm not sure. I'd understood that the Bible said that there will be a false ruler of the world (or many nations) that people think is great, but that person is the Anti-Christ. Then, after that, I thought it said, we will experience several years of really bad times (maybe famine, plagues, etc.) The Second Coming would then be some time after that? Oh yes it’s all familiar. I do believe that we in the west have been taught from a mainly 20th/21st century perspective instead of a perspective of the 1st century church to which scripture is actually aimed. Meaning that they intrinsically understood the symbolic language because they lived then. I have come to appreciate the teachings of Dr Michael Heiser now deceased and the teaching of Dr Tim Mackie from the bibleproject.com. They have a different take since their studies are Semetic languages and both have a good grasp of that culture.

Ah, the multi-headed beast written of at the beginning of Revelation 13. The army of the Dragon that goes to make war with the remnant of the woman's seed, that keep the commands of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. This began at the resurrection of Jesus Christ, and will continue until the 7th trump sounds.
The prophecies of Dan 12:1&2 have already begun to be fulfilled. Michael stood up and cast Satan and his out of Heaven and into the earth, as documented in Rev 12. And many saints arose out of the dust of the earth in Matt 27:52&53. Those events were done ‘at the time of the end’ and are part of the ‘time of trouble’ which is the ‘Great Tribulation’. Furthermore, when I look at the word ‘tribulation’ in the Gospels it is spoken of as a future event. After Jesus’ resurrection, ‘tribulation’ is spoken of in the present tense.
Have you considered this? We still have the 3 1/2 years to look forward to with the two witnesses and the beast, that comes from the earth, being empowered.

I will give her a listen. I have studied Daniel and Revelation a lot lately. It appears to me there is a lot of misinformation. First of all, the word 'week' is not 'seven', it is 'sevened'. Look it up in a Strong's concordance. I think the first 69 weeks were 7 year periods, but the 70th 'week' is on Jesus Christ's time. I think it spans from since the resurrection until the 7th trump sounds. This is the only way everything fits, IMHO.

I am no longer a Seventh Day Adventist (except in principle), and haven't been for many years [because the SDA organization is completely soldout to the Beast (the RCC), and is thus completely corrupt and now only part of apostate "Protestantism" (yet NOT its original message, which was, and still is, completely right-on)], but read Ellen G. White's book, The Great Controversy Between Christ and Satan. Get a hold of a copy with the original introduction written by E.G. White herself; read that; then, if you don't want to read the entire book, read the last third of it starting at the end of the historical section, beginning with the explanations of Daniel and Revelation, the prophetic section. That accurately interprets it all.
The 1884 and/or 1888 versions are the best, if you can get them.
Ellen White never expounded the 666 number as "Vicarius Filii Dei". This originated from a Protestant interpretation in the 1600's, and was picked up by some Adventists. There are many reasons why this cannot be the proper interpretation of this number:

I believe the abomination of desolation was set up 1290 days after the daily sacrifice was taken away, in 70 AD. Exactly how it is written of in Daniel chapter 12. That set up date would be 74 AD, after the Siege of Masada, which I believe was the deadly wound to one of the heads of the first beast in Revelation 13. That wound will soon be healed and the enemies of Jesus will start enforcing Noahide laws from the judgement seats in Israel.

Then the LORD said unto me, Out of the north an evil shall break forth upon all the inhabitants of the land. For, lo, I will call all the FAMILIES of the kingdoms of the north, saith the LORD; and they shall come, and they shall set every one his throne at the entering of the gates of Jerusalem, (This is the place of judgment.) and against all the walls thereof round about, and against all the cities of Judah. And I will utter my judgments against them touching all their wickedness, who have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto other gods, and worshipped the works of their own hands.” 1948 should come to mind.
While I realize you can't give a full interpretation in a comment, this idea that the time periods are literal days, is very hard to establish. For one, there are actually three time periods: 1260, 1290, and 1335 days. You must find exact and specific start and end points for all three.
Secondly, the 1260 days are mentioned seven times over Daniel and the Revelation. Twice in Daniel (Daniel 7:25, 12:7 - as "a time, times, and a half") and five times in Revelation (Rev. 11:2, 3; 12:6, 14; 13:5 - as "42 months," "a time, times and half a time," and "a thousand two hundred and threescore days").
If your interpretation is correct, you must be able to apply it to the prophecies in Revelation 11, 12, and 13 also. This will not be easy.

Yes, it is hard to give a full interpretation in a comment, especially when we have been deceived by so many lies.
Just going off my poor memory here: (I cannot identify specific events down to the day.)
- I do believe the 1260 days is applicable to the time the two witnesses will be active in Jerusalem. That is a future event that has not yet happened.
- The 1290 days is from the time the daily sacrifice is taken away (history - 70 AD) until the abomination of desolation is 'set up'. The abomination of desolation had to exist in 70 AD because it was in Jerusalem prior to the Christians fleeing.
- The 1335 days I can assign no event to, other than the persecution had to end at some point. If a person got to the 1335 day they were out of immediate trouble. IDK
I think the time described in Dan 7, which is in Chaldee, is 3 1/2 years. The Strong's concordance dictionary does back that up. You can not define 'a time, and times, and a half time' as 3 1/2 years in Daniel 12 or Revelation 12. Look it up.
Most of Revelation 11 is in our future.
Revelation 12 is in our past.
Revelation 13 spans from our past, continuing on from 12:17, and is describing events in our future.

Dan 8:12-14 KJV "12 And an host was given [him] against the daily [sacrifice] by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered. 13 Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain [saint] which spake, How long [shall be] the vision [concerning] the daily [sacrifice], and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot? 14 And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed."
Here is a rough translation of Dan 8:12-14 as I see it: And an army was given to the abomination of desolation to take away the daily sacrifice because the Jews were revolting. He was successful. Then I heard one saint ask the other, ‘How long shall it take them to take away the daily sacrifice and to destroy the temple and defeat the Jews’? He answered, ‘2300 days and it will be done’.
'Transgression' was why the Roman army came against the daily sacrifice. Why did Rome destroy Jerusalem? Interestingly it was because they revolted. I think that the word 'revolt' is what the word 'transgression' means. So, when did it start and end? Approximately 67 to 73 AD. How many years is 2300 days?
These events were future to the time when Jesus gave the Olivet Discourse. Remember, TWO questions were asked of Jesus. When shall these buildings be destroyed? What shall be the sign of your coming and the end of the world? Those events are separated by nearly 2000 years now.
One of the beast’s heads received a deadly wound by the sword. I believe it was at the end of the 2300 days with the event named, The Siege of Masada. This would also be the time Dan 12:11 was fulfilled, “And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.” The first ‘successor to Peter’ was a Roman named Linus. What that office has done completely lines up with the description of the ‘abomination that maketh desolate.
I can find no one else that sees things as I do. What I do know is that I'm not a somebody. I'm a maintenance man. The only book I've really studied is the Bible. I owned a locksmith service for 14 years and churches have to change their locks often. Pastors never wanted to have a discussion about Scripture. All I know is I put ALL of my faith in the Word. Jesus says, "Buy of me gold tested in fire." Where's his store? I say it is His Word. Do you buy that?

Okay, I looked it up. Here it is:
Revelation 12
6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.
14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.
The events are the same. In one place it is 1260 days, in another it is 3 1/2 times. Therefore the periods are identical. 3 1/2 years (of 360 days each) = 1260 days. I fail to see what is so difficult about this, unless you have a predisposition to deny something because it does not fit in with your other interpretations.
The day-year principle is well established. It is found in the prophecy of Daniel 9:25-27. It was also accepted by a whole host of interpreters through the last 1000 years or so. See Froom's "Prophetic Faith of Our Fathers" especially the last 2 volumes for all the historical references.
I'm not going to go 'round and 'round with you, but you supposedly don't have time to read a relatively-short section of E.G. White's great book that would blow your frigging mind, yet you have time to read all kinds of other things, and to come up with your own misinterpretations of Daniel and Revelation, etc. Whatever, I don't have time for people who reject truth and deceive people.
The same goes for the false beliefs of Frank Zimmerman, too; although, he is closer to correct than you are by far. And, Frank, contrary to the so-called "proof" that you provided supposedly making the interpretation of the RCC being the Beast of Revelation 13 "false", the latter interpretation most-definitely IS the correct one. Also, all of the "day" time periods are fully and correctly explained by Ellen White; thus, if you were truly led by the Holy Spirit, and truly had only God's discernment, and you recognized that, there would be no more need for speculation and supposition about it. It all becomes quite clear and falls into place once you recognize it, stop rejecting truth, and are completely set free by that truth. You can't truly prove "wrong" what is proven correct.
Pray for God's Gift of Discernment, both of you, and all those others who are interested, receive it, and be shown the truth of what is to all others a stumblingblock for those not truly led by God through Jesus the Christ to be sent a strong delusion to believe lies and false interpretations of God's Word(s), as the Apostle Paul made quite clear happens with most interpreters thereof.

I don't have any pride or ego, but believe that I am one of the worst of all sinners, as the Apostle Paul believed he was (of course, before he was converted to Jesus the Christ, he as a Jew worked with the Roman government to mass-murder Christians in the thousands; so, though he was transformed into a completely new person who no longer perpetrated any such evil, he no doubt, in his humility, still had feelings of guilt over all the unrighteous things he had done before he came to know the Messiah and to be totally transformed by Him into a Truly, Fully and Completely righteous person).
So, I fall WAYYYYY short, and I'm conscious of that every day. I don't believe that my discernment and being guided by the Holy Spirit makes me ANY better than, or at all superior to, anyone else, and I am painfully aware every day that I am still a sinner, and deserving of nothing but God's destruction. Or you would feel the same or similar about one of His apostles and/or disciples if they were walking the earth in the flesh today. Correcting the mistaken beliefs of believers, is one of the primary duties of His disciples.
Therefore, please believe me that it is nothing but the truth when I say that I take NO delight, or feel ANY superiority, in crying out with the Truth. I feel completely unworthy to do so, and I try to just let God through Jesus the Christ use me as He sees fit. God's Love is most-often tough Love. Everyone has to be called to COMPLETE TRUE AND FULL REPENTANCE in order to make sure they more likely obtain it. They must entirely recognize and confess that they are completely-awful sinners who have only sought their own will and way(s) all of their lives up to that point, and be Truly, Fully and Completely sorry for it, and then be so completely transformed into the character of God that they will NO LONGER seek their own will and way(s) anymore WHATSOEVER, but will from then on ONLY Live God's Will and Way(s) through the infilling and COMPLETE TRANSFORMATION of His Grace IN THIS LIFE; for later at glorification it will be much too late. The ONLY thing that takes place at glorification, that hasn't already taken place during our lives on this earth if we have Truly, Fully and Completely repented, is the transformation of sinful flesh into immortal, nothing but holy, flesh. Their characters, if they Truly, Fully and Completely repented, will have already been made COMPLETELY holy and immortal PRIOR TO GLORIFICATION.
THAT is how people "will know we are (TRUE) Christians", through our being completely infilled with that Love via God's nothing but Holy Character having completely transformed us into same here and now. Short of that, we will not TRULY have God's Love, either for ourselves or anyone else, whatsoever; and, as a result, all such people will just as much lose their souls for all eternity as all unbelievers will. One MUST be a COMPLETE believer in God's Power, in His "Allpowerfulness", AND BE COMPLETELY TRANSFORMED BY IT, in order to be Truly, Fully and Completely saved into God's kingdom, both spiritually and physically. I believe I have answered your question, haven't I? Think of it this way, as Satan having counterfeited everything of importance, particularly in connection with God's Word(s), Will and Way. To detract from God's Truth, to get most believers to believe in false interpretations of His Truth, and to get them to worship a false version of Christianity as "the 'truth'", he created the RCC. Look at how successful he has been with it. He's gotten most people on earth, who don't believe in Islam, etc., to believe in Catholicism, or a "Protestant" version of Catholicism, a mixture of some Christianity and Paganism, etc.; or, in the the case of "Protestantism", a mixture of "Protestantism" and Catholicism.
Look at how he's gotten most believers to worship on a completely-false day of worship that came from sun god worship, Sunday, the counterfeit of the Sabbath, the TRUE Lord's Day, Saturday, and the true worship day of God's Fourth Commandment (which the RCC very conveniently and evilly removed from the RCC version of the Bible). Thus, he's gotten most believers in "Christianity" to do the opposite of keeping His Commandments, by getting them to keep counterfeit versions of some of them, to not take the true version of God's Commandments seriously, and by getting them to teach and believe in false beliefs that we supposedly don't have to obey God's Commandments because we supposedly "can't" be completely transformed into the character of Jesus the Christ right now, and to falsely believe that they won't be so-transformed until glorification (Jesus the Christ's second coming), thereby completely underestimating the Power of God and His Almightiness, aka "Allpowerfulness", which CAN of course completely transform us NOW if we truly want Him and True Christianity ON HIS TERMS ALONE, and not on our terms (i.e., counterfeit "Christianity's" terms).
Satan has also counterfeited other of God's Commandments, such as the Seventh Commandment about adultery and what the Real Truth is concerning marriage and divorce, falsely leading most people, including most believers in "Christianity", to believe in "irreconcilable differences", evilly changing God's Will into a belief that anyone can, "'legally' in God's eyes", divorce for any reason, rather than the TRUTH that the ONLY Biblical grounds for divorce is adultery, or spouses sexually cheating on eachother, period. There is ABSOLUTELY, according to God's Word(s) alone, NO OTHER grounds for divorce WHATSOEVER. If a spouse is physically abusive, that is grounds for permanent separation but no remarriage. And, if one puts all of the verses on adultery and divorce together in context, that is the Truth about adultery and divorce.
In other words, Satan gets most believers to do the opposite of obey God's Will, while falsely believing that "they 'are'" obeying His Will. The RCC and its counterfeit "Protestantism" (having long completely infiltrated Protestantism and transformed it into an extension of the RCC's counterfeit-"Christianity") have so 'added to and taken away' from God's Word(s), Will and Way, in violation of Revelation 22:18-19, that True Christianity is almost completely unrecognizable to the vast majority of people; and this is the case with counterfeit "Protestants" to such an extent, that very few of them correctly interpret God's Word(s), Will and Way, very few of them Truly, Fully and Completely obey God's Will, and very few of them have a TRUE relationship with God ONLY on His terms, WHATSOEVER. Thank you for a thoughtful article. There are obviously many differing opinions about this. God will be the judge of all in the final analysis. There are saints and sinners in the RCC just as there are in Protestant denominations. Our responsibility is to humbly follow Scripture (Sola Scriptura, Sola Gracia, Sola Fide, Sola Fide, souls Christus and Soli Deo Gloria) and not glorify any human.
That said, I did not take the jab for many reasons. The rotten fruits of the mandates, especially in Canada, were not of God, the people promoting it (Big Pharma, WEF, WHO, Gates et al) all evil imo, being dishonest about the vaccine, and most importantly, my husband (B.V.Sc, M.Med.Vet Physiology) who was in palliative care at the time, warned us in detail of all the dangers associated with this half-baked vaccine.
