One woman I know was completely terrified of the trucker protest and she lives over 200 kms from it! We all know how fear of that magnitude affects the brain and a person's ability to reason.

When I tried to advocate for babies being surgically mutilated during heart surgery I could not get any coverage from news, famous personalities, advocacy groups, was kicked off heart surgery forums, ignored by doctors, scorned by AHA, dismissed by foundations. Lately I've tried alternative news sources which seem poised to scour the planet for stories like mine and I was still turned away. When I told her that I preferred to wait one to two years to see what data came in about the safety of the shots, here is what she told me: "Well, you will then live an isolated and lonely life, unable to participate in society."
At the time, I felt like saying, "Hurray! If that's what it takes, I'm there!" However, what I said was, "Oh, yes, well, I will take that into consideration. Thank you." After the "interview," I was sent an email with a link to a propaganda website about the safety of the shots to reinforce the process.
So, there are the large cogs working in the system, and then there are the small cogs on the ground, like this pharmacist. I have to wonder how many went through the same process, only to cave in, due to fear?

One woman I know was completely terrified of the trucker protest and she lives over 200 kms from it! We all know how fear of that magnitude affects the brain and a person's ability to reason.
I am grateful that I have meditation and other spiritual practices to maintain my calm, but underneath it all is a profound fear and uncertainty about the future that I have never felt before in my life. It is difficult to live with. I find that connecting with people here truly does help.

I don’t watch it, but I thought I saw in line there was a side box that was spewing it out. I too am grateful for meditation and other spiritual practices. It’s so necessary right now. I’m trying very hard to breathe deeply all day because I’m normally a shallow breather. Yoga helps with that too. Yes, it’s the not knowing that’s difficult. I listen to a balance of videos from citizen journalists good and bad because we all need a dose of hopium. I also agree it’s good to talk to other people. I’ve come across so many people who genuinely want to help others. It’s all good. “Life said I’ll make you happy, but first I’ll make you strong.”
