I have no experience piloting massive ships, though decades piloting cruising sailboats, so I may be missing something here but AIS data indicates that the ship was decelerating rapidly when the stern swung dramatically to port. That plus the black smoke from the ship suggests the ship was reversing hard which may have imparted the forces which swung the stern rapidly to port. If reversing did in fact cause the rapid course change, directly into the bridge, the decision to reverse was an enormous error. Absent those forces, given that the ship was well positioned on the left side of the channel, if rudder control was lost momentum might have carried it under the bridge or perhaps resulted in a glancing rather than direct collision with the bridge. I heard, though haven't checked, that the tide was near slack and video clearly shows winds were not heavy so those weren't factors, plus tidal currents and heavy winds probably wouldn't cause such a radical course change given the massive size of the vessel.
FWIW, at this point I don't see any reason to believe this was done intentionally. But let's hope for legitimate investigation of all possibilities.
As an English person, I immediately thought that there was something odd about this ‘accident’. I can’t read all information out there to give myself background on issues relating to this, and other incidents in the US as well as in the UK; I would never get anything done (I work full time too).
There is obviously a force trying to topple the world at the moment. Who/what that is I’m not sure (WHO/WEF).
Everyone needs to wake up and understand this, and not partake in the lies and the charade. It all needs to be called out. Stop the flow of money. How, is unknown, but if we stop giving air to the shit, maybe we can turn the tide and bring the house of cards crashing down.

Have you watched the video on X? You should. In it the lights are out on the ship as it begins. Then the lights come on, massive engine smoke is exhausted, the ship turns radically to starboard, straightens, and is under power until just before impact. No way was this was not driven into that pylon. I doubt it was piloted from the bridge of the vessel. Engine full ahead and hard starboard then null rudder worked beautifully. Watch the video.
This was a maritime accident. You’ll have to wait at least 12 months for the NTSB report which will be compiled behind closed doors, at which time all will have forgotten this incident. There are reasons the rudder fell to port and the anchor was dropped, nothing to do with dumping a biological weapon into the ocean. It’s a small tragedy, end of story. If this was planned, they did a poor job of executing.
Someone sent the following links by a knowledgable Maritime Enthusiast who consulted with other experts to put forward the opinion that the actions taken were appropriate and it was an accident.
I note that rudder control requires a back up system so I am curious if it was effective. Dropping the port anchor should cause the ship to swing to port which was probably the goal (I have done it).
