In addition to Schumer and the Bidens, let's not forget feckless Mike Johnson and the other neocon/Ziocon Republicans who "care" about Ukraine's border but not ours. And by endorsing MAGA-Mike's $61 billion more for Ukraine, President Trump, who says he could end the Ukraine/Russia war (really a US/NATO/Russia war) in a day, has just negated a prime reason to re-elect him. Did Trump learn nothing from having turned over his 1st administration to Paul Ryan, Reince Preibus, Mike Pompeo and other Never Trumpers?
The 61 billion dollars is going to produce a lot of dead and maimed bodies. But DC doesn't care because they think it will enhance their power, which is all those control freaks care about.
And as Mike Adams says, we're adding a trillion to the U.S. debt every three months, soon to be every month, then every week, as the world flees the U.S. dollar. Germany 1923?
The whole point of what corrupt governments are doing with our money is to remove it from improving our lives and stash it in their private vaults or accounts to enrich themselves at our expense. Wealth is being stolen in this "great taking" and this is just one way they are able to do it with the consent of many of the governed.

Sure we will have lots more dead Ukrainians and Russians and lots more rich politicians and arms makers, but the worst part is what borrowing another $61 billion that we don't have will do to inflation and our financial standing. When you invest in a new building in this country, as you point out, you get not only construction jobs, but create many long-term jobs and opportunities for all kinds of people. When you borrow billions and throw them into the Black Hole of Ukraine you get very little back in the long term, other than making the average American poorer as prices rise and the federal government one step closer to bankruptcy.
Where will the money go?
Back into the pockets of a select few hundreds rich people, many of them in the US, I suspect.

Interesting snippet on the war news feed this morning: Russians are capturing American Bradley APC painted in dun-yellow desert camouflage.
It seems these are the new vehicles sent in the latest aid shipment.
They were never repainted for camouflage in the Ukraine terrain, and immediately deployed, making relatively easy targets.
Ties up with pictures I saw last week of Bradleys in desert camouflage on trucks on the Polish border.
