This is not news. It has been known for a long time. It’s just that our government has done nothing about it. Like so many industries, the corporate tax has driven companies to other countries where the tax is lower. Other regulations that have driven up the cost of labor have also driven companies to move overseas or outsource their labor. What incentives do our Pharmaceutical companies have to manufacture in the US? And when will their fraud be disincentivized?

Fascinating conversation. How do we actually get Ms. Gilbert’s suggestions implemented? China certainly has outsmarted all of us.

Why this was ever allowed to happen is beyond my comprehension. The production of medicine should never have been allowed to move off shore, period!

Do these shortages affect all countries. What about India? Mexico?

Wow. I just was saying there was an update to this book. Had anything changed and what effect it had? Well. Anything? Cause this was published several years ago and you would think it would caused action. So again it is politicians doing the wrong thing and probably getting money

Peter and all,

How about promoting Trump with 2024 ELECTION INTEGRITY?

Only Trump as President is capable of beginning the cleanup of America with accountability of the pharmaceutical companies, taking care of the serious issues presented in your substack today!

I see that there is a “Controversies in Internal Medicine Conference” coming up in May. There is a session on “One flu over the cuckoo’s nest” vaccines for respiratory infections. The speaker will be Dr. Gopal Yadavalli, MD. I can only imagine what will be said at this conference, if it is any thing like other conferences I’ve attended. Dr. McCullough, I see that you were not an invited speaker. Do you know who this Dr. Yadavalli is?

Why China? Because they can. The most important difference between China and the US is the Chinese banking system.

In the US, private banks decide what loans to make. Private banks, often global, get a rake off from every loan they make in the form of interest. And if a loan goes bad, Main Street still has to come up with some way to pay it, which we call a "bail-out."

The People's Bank of China is owned by the Chinese state. The Chinese state bank makes the loans and decides what to lend to. If a loan goes bad, the government can just cancel the debt, because it owes the money to itself.

Unfortunately the To Err is Human ended up not being good Cherry picked hospitals and then developed a gargantuan “risk” movement that really did not have the effect intended from what I understand. So shows intention does not always lead to good practice or science. But makes lots of money for those who hype stuff

I am unable to open Ms. Gibson's interview with you. I keeps saying substack is having issues. Can I view it elsewhere? I forwarded it to friends and they cannot open it either. Thank you.

Must admit I lose entirely or step into and out of threads. What I meant to imply is that the medications we have been offered for years have not been manufactured under the precision and sterile conditions we used to ‘believe’ they were, especially since we handed over production to China. I don’t know if your warning (duly appreciated, for sure) should be solely directed toward other countries - as though our standards remain what they used to be.

This is the very reason why you are better off not taking any prescribed medications. Definitely will read her book to see which Supplements not to buy.
