Both nano- and liposomal formulations improve absorption modestly. Piperine massively increases absorption but has some GI intolerance. Thus 5-10 mg a piperine is probably enough per 500 to 1000 mg dose of curcumin to get optimal absorption.

Thank you Dr McCullough for your continued vigilance in your spirit of serving your fellow men and women. Question: One or two nutraceutical companies have begun to offer a liposomal version of Tumeric to help with absorption. Might not this approach replace the need for the black pepper, for those vegetarians that avoid that substance?

I can’t say with 100% certainty, but it is my belief that you will still get a better absorption rate, as well as the synergistic effect by adding black pepper. The liposomal version should be better than straight Curcumin though.

Curcumin also has anti cancer properties.

As do many many real foods. It was recently said there is no such thing as junk food. Only Junk and Food.

Add black pepper for greater uptake. Per studies in India.

Though black pepper can help with absorption, for some it can cause gastritis & result in blood in the stool. Many are not aware of this potential problem.

Peter,

Thank you for all the continuing science you present with FACTS!

I think many things have been and are presented in the medical school teachings that are wrong…on purpose! I know VERY little is taught today on vitamins and minerals…all the natural things contributing to health!

How can I donate just to you on the this substack?

Why?

Because of John Leake who promotes LIBERAL DEMOCRATS, recently promoting Steve Kirsch’s substack to his readers…

Is it Kirsch’s ‘concerns’ on OVERPOPULATION that we should find interesting? He joins Malone in ‘concerns’ about OVERPOPULATION? And Kirsch and John Leake are promoting a democrat for president who gets the anti vaccine story right but everything else like climate change he gets wrong! Hitler used the green/climate garbage mantra to scare people too…ALL communism!

Steve Kirsch, Malone, Kennedy, Jr and John Leake…the four musketeers that have tried to hide their TRUE resumes AND agendas…liberal democrats!

All so shameful as Americans still do not do their homework into someone’s COMPLETE BACKGROUND before following them…

I would like to donate to your substack with you receiving 100% of my money!

John should have his own substack promoting his liberal Democrat agenda and pals…NOT taking advantage of your great reputation of doing your best with science TRUTHS to save the health of humanity!

TM, you might want to view the world a bit more nuanced than that.

Truth Matters, Malone cites von Mises. Malone has been totally red-pilled. Read him more carefully.

I doubt Kirsch is a Democrat-Fascist now, but I could be wrong.

RFK, Jr., clearly was a fascist. I'm not so sure now. He has integrity and, with that alone, I hold hope. Anyone who is willing to lose his entire family for an idea is someone worthy of consideration. That is the prime difference between integrity and loyalty.

Thank you for your comments!

Unfortunately at this late date in the destruction of America…it is not difficult to miss one’s agenda if you look at complete background checks and what one is saying and writing.

Fortunately, there are finally some reputable voices with experience and integrity willing to present Truths/facts skipping the profiteering!

Every day I add about 2 grams of turmeric to whatever I am cooking. Scrambled eggs, almond pancakes, ground beef. All works well. I buy the large 16 oz container by Mcormick sold at US Foods, chef store. Mainly a restaurant supply place. About $18. Economical compared to capsules or smaller containers from the supermarket. Funny how my friend Patel has known this from the beginning.
