Elon literally told us to fuck off in the face the other day, and said he will fight us the likes of which we have never seen if we tried to stop him from giving all the tech jobs to East Indians that he’s going to help aggressively bring into our country!

If you are referring to the H-1B issue then you will have to accept that a great country needs the best of the best in each industry to advance. If that person is a foreigner then I welcome them to come work in my country if they can meet immigration criteria. I don't subscribe to using this for migrant farm workers as I think jobs for lower classes of work should go to citizens first however when we are talking about programming main frames, designing ICs, building rocket ships, etc then the best of the best are needed. I design buildings for WASPS, East Indians, Native Indians, Chinese, Europeans and pretty well everyone else in the contracting business. They are all decent hard working people, immigrant or citizens and a credit to the country.

You do not understand the H1-B issue. They are importing people wholesale, often by companies called "body shops". Those companies game the lottery system in order to get the vast majority of H1-Bs. Does that sound like the best and the brightest? Some of them are very good but to assume they are all really great just shows you know nothing about what is going on.

Go talk to some people who work in the tech industry and let them explain it to you. I'm getting really tired of people who have only learned about this issue recently, yet think they know all about it. Musk is not telling the truth.

Not only does meritocracy suffer when we prioritize the exclusive immigration of East Indians, but if this country were even 10% committed to an "America First" approach, we would implement incentives for multigenerational Americans, making it easier for them to have more children while simultaneously improving the quality of education available to those children.

For example, when my nephew writes exams in a room with 100 students, he is one of only three Caucasians in his university’s pre-med program. Our own children are being rejected from universities to make room for foreign students, who are given superior enrolment access simply because they pay slightly higher tuition, which of course is the excuse, they are giving us. This isn’t about meritocracy or better academic performance—our educational institutions have been in decline for generations, but nothing compares to the rapid downward spiral of the last decade. Today, our children are actively penalized for being our children.

Consider the grading system: when answering questions, students can earn four marks—one for the correct answer, one for showing their work, one for verifying their answer, and a fourth mark that is entirely subjective, left to the discretion of the teacher. A student could achieve every correct answer on an exam, demonstrate accurate methodology, and still receive only 50% if they fail to “prove” their work or satisfy the ambiguous criteria of the fourth mark. Meanwhile, students in countries like China and India are graded purely on the accuracy of their answers. Even if their grades appear higher, this does not mean they outperform our children in skill or knowledge.

This issue doesn’t even touch on the broader systemic problem: universities are staffed with radical leftists, granted employment preference under woke DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) hiring practices. These institutions are controlled by the very same ideologues who perpetuate anti-meritocratic policies.

If leadership in North America were truly in the hands of people like us, we would never have allowed weaponized multiculturalism to take root—especially from incompatible cultures and unskilled, unvetted migrants and those posing as refugees. We would also have refused to give away hundreds of billions of dollars to foreign countries under any pretext. Every decision our government makes is absurd, yet some still defend figures like Elon Musk and Donald Trump for their involvement in H1B visa policies.

Defending such actions only demonstrates a lack of understanding the agenda and the identity of who really pulls the strings behind these so-called leaders. Let me offer you a clue:

“If you want to know who is in charge, look at who it is illegal to criticize.”

Thanks for making some points I was not aware of. My position is immigration should be limited and each immigrant should provide something the country needs and cannot be sourced with current citizenry.

This was the original intention of the H-1B visa. The education system in the US needs a complete overhaul to ensure our kids get the best education to meet the needs of the country as a whole whether it is in medicine, engineering, the arts or music. As you point out the education system needs to be fair and objective.

Keep in mind that some farmers I have worked and live in my community cannot get local labour to do harder manual labour. I was in a couple of lighting plants and a styrofoam plant in the past 20 years and their wasn't a white face in there. I asked about this at one plant and they said they found that their current staff handle the job better and show up for work.

Sadly I find more foreigner's children work hard and are well behaved than established white families (and I am white). I have not found the reason for this and I hope that situation changes.

Ever since the manufactured Covid fiasco, our youth have displayed a sense of laziness and entitlement. The lure of universal basic income has taught them that hard work is irrelevant.

Prior to Covid I had not noticed this however ever since lockdown days it is difficult to find good employees for virtually any job, especially those involving labour.

This was done on purpose, it was engineered, and it can be reverse engineered. However, the goal is not to fix anything. Their goal was always to destroy us.

In a truly just world we would also ask the question "Would that immigrant's home country be better off if they stayed there"? And the answer to that question is usually a resounding Yes. The H1B program is simply a slavery system by any other name.

I agree with your premise. Also, it makes no sense to me to educate foreigners in our own universities only for them to leave the country after graduation. We don’t need a brain drain. I’m ok with Trump’s idea of giving these American educated immigrants in high tech fields a permanent green card. Although, the way our education system has been in the last several years, a foreigner might be receiving a better education in their own country, sadly. We certainly need to do more to encourage more Americans to enroll in STEM programs. Doctors and nurses are retiring early adding to a shortage of healthcare workers. The COVID debacle contributed enormously to the healthcare worker shortage. However, we need medical and nursing schools to stop with the teaching their students that there is an infinite number of genders, men can become pregnant, etc., and cut out the DEI crap! But it was unconscionable what happened to Disney employees who were fired but had to train their foreign replacement in order to receive their severance pay.

Do you know what happens to most tech workers who get a Green Card or, heaven forbid, citizenship? They get laid off in the next round because they aren't as easy to push around as the H1Bs.

Trump came out with the idea of stapling Green Cards to diplomas after meeting with the tech bros. Trump will fall for anything.

Do you know why Americans *aren't* enrolling in STEM programs (although they have been the last few years)? Because they are afraid they won't get jobs because of the H1B program.

I don't get this idea that Americans are too lazy or just don't want to do this stuff. Plenty of them do but we have to make sure they have work when they get out. I'm tired of all this nonsense about how Americans can't or won't do this stuff. I have been taking classes at the community college here and the kids I meet are hard workers who are more than capable of doing this kind of work. Most of them are trying to get into the medical field because they think there are more jobs available.

We don't need to give foreign students Green Cards because there is no shortage of tech workers. They have been telling that lie for 30 years. Silicon Valley just laid off tons of tech workers and now they are complaining that they need H1Bs.

Steve Bannon thinks that foreign students need to go home and improve their own country. He also thinks that if these issues aren't fixed, there is literally going to be a world of hurt.

If our children and citizens were educated properly, they would understand the value of hard work, but instead they are instilling complacency and entitlement and essentially telling them that no one wants these jobs so if they keep hearing it over and over in the news and on social media, they automatically assume this is the reality of the world around them as they have no life experience to draw from.

It would be easy to reverse engineer this however the goal is never going to be repairing our countries ability to be self sustaining, patriotic, or cohesive as unity is the most attacked entity in our country

The reason they attacked traditional family values, Christianity and bombard us with racial divide is because when we are divided, we are more easily controlled

Divide and conquer has always been their greatest weapon against us

The problem is many do not realize that no matter who gets elected we are still being controlled by the same ruling ((establishment)) that owns the banks, Media, HollyWood, immigration, search engines, big Pharma, and holds sway over the judiciary.

Regardless what one thinks of Musk, the German establishment is petrified of losing power, and their only defense against the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party is to demonise it, because if they argued against the AfD on the level of pros and cons of policy they would draw attention to the futility and disfunctionality of their own, and to the sensibleness and practicality of the AfD's. And they might lose voters that way. That's why Musk's opinion is shaking things up so much and why the reaction of the establishment is so stupid, as John Leake so bluntly but accurately puts it.
