I say we crowdfund herds of goats for Southern California and name every goat after a member of Congress and the government so at least their names can be associated with *some* good before they die. We can start with the California legislature and Governor and move on to California's US Congressmen and Senators. It's about time Adam Schiff, Maxine Waters and Gavin Newsome gave something back to the people they terrorize every single day.
Why give them any attention at all - they are criminals and con artists. I like the idea of naming the goats though, but maybe by the ones who donate to fund this program.
My thought was politicians have taken so much of the good from the people of California they should be made to give something back, if only their names. I'm not married to the idea though. The people of California should get to name them maybe? I just want to do something positive for those who've had their piece of the American dream stolen from them by those entrusted to care for it. They deserve something good in their lives so maybe they don't feel like this is the end instead of the chance for a new beginning. I'm praying for those still suffering in No. Carolina and California and I would urge all believers to join me. God has given us a chance to turn America back to Him and we should start with the suffering of our own people. God bless us all and God bless America!
The HOA near me in the east county of San Diego (I’m not part of it) hires a herd of about 200 goats every spring to clear the whole canyon we live above. They’re awesome.
My friend in Bonsall had the fire marshal require he clear brush on his very steep hilly 4.5 acre property for safety, so he acquired a half dozen goats to reside there. The pickings were slim with the wavering drought conditions these recent years.
I read somewhere that people in the Pacific Palisades weren’t allowed to clear brush behind their properties because the city was going to take care of it - and never did.
In San Diego, we cannot clear the brush because it is purportedly habitat for kangaroo RATS (who, BTW can survive anywhere) and gnat catchers). 🤬 Environmentalism run amok.
I’m in Fletcher Hills. The HOA here (I’m not part of it) thankfully brings in goats every spring to eat the brush. I guess they don’t eat kangaroo rats. It’s all so ridiculous. We have far too many coyotes in our canyon that eat any pets they can find, including in our backyards behind 6’ fences. But dare to complain and you get “well, they were here first!” from the Karens on Nextdoor. 🤦🏼♀️
For years I rode my quarter horse on the wonderful trails in the East Bay hills overlooking San
Francisco Bay. Brush goat herds were regularly brought in. They were very effective in removing and controlling the ever-growing underbrush. The goats will even eat the poison oak and blackberry
I remember seeing the goats in the East Bay as well. I seem to recall some people (activist groups?) complaining that the goats deprived immigrants of jobs clearing the brush.
The City of Solvang has been using goats for several years to clean up the area around our large local park. They rent the herd from a guy who takes his goats around to many different locales. He sets up the fencing for them. The park is near our home and we look forward to seeing them every year. They eat everything in sight, leaving a pristine parkland.
Is it not unbelievable that a herd of environmentally friendly goats can achieve much more in a couple of weeks than a huge herd of expensive, useless and damaging bureaucrats during many years? I would say: more goats and away with the real useless eaters .....
It’s the best movie! I’ve watched it three times and want to see it again. It fills me with joy, every time. God provided us with everything we need, if we just make use of it.
I live in California. There is a beach town near us called Laguna Beach. There are a lot hillside expensive homes there and amidst the natural landscape and forest, there are goats grazing on the brush or whatever is left up on the hills. Smart and economical.
I lived in Chevy Chase Canyon for many years, and I will tell you that goats were brought in from time to time. In fact, a few years ago a herd of goats was brought in to clear the hills near Glendale Community College and I would sometimes watch them grazing the Hills. Also, my daughter had a home in Sun Valley California, near the Sunland/Tujunga area and they and their neighbors were REQUIRED to clear their hillside every year at their own expense and did so. The fact is that in recent years, officials in California have accelerated their stupidity and frankly evil behavior. The vulnerability of these and surrounding areas is well known and understood. We had a fabulous fire and police department who kept us quite safe for many years before they started getting defunded, stupidly over-regulated, and harassed. I fervently believe that this is deliberate. The strings have to be pulled all the way down to discover who exactly is benefiting from this. The visible idiots are being financed by people we don’t see. Nothing else makes sense to me. As a native Californian, who finally left the state, this is heartbreaking.
I left also, and I miss it so much. There is no place like California, and it’s sad that it has deteriorated to this extent. I believe that it’s intentional.
a goat herd is being used to clear brush in Pebble Beach as well. There are vineyards that use geese. There are people using their brains and ingenuity..

The politicians need to lose all their assets and that would be only a small recompense for what they've done.
Gavin Gnaw-some? Karen Baaaas?
😂😂 Gavin Gnaw-some works, but maybe Karen Dum Baaaass? 😂😂

LOL!

I saw the same thing in Thousand Oaks when I was there caring for my father.

Someone would file a lawsuit for “Cruelty to Animals!”
Remember who we’re talking about here?
Goats are people too, right?
Oh the nonsensical humanity of which “We the People” must live with and “can’t we all get along” with, day in and day out!
Unfortunately there’s still many people who believe the State of California,
“Did everything right!”
Save the “Delta-Smelt,” at all costs! Even human lives! What’s so disconcerting is, the “Delta-Smelt” hasn’t been seen in 10 years or so.
Good God why do we choose the insane to run the asylum?
Wake up California, wake the heck up!
May God Bless America and The Entire World!

I suggest not wasting time talking to Los Angeles County.... Talk to The Donald and it will get done!
Everyone needs to watch -the biggest little farm movie
To understand the ecosystem and how we are all beautifully interconnected
And how these symbiotic relationships are actually as nature and God intended…
… the movie is full of hope …for California … which has been severely damaged
I highly Recommend this movie!

That was an inspirational movie!
I love that movie! It’s so inspiring.
I look forward to watching it, thanks for the info.
A good approach. But I'm pretty sure that exactly because of that, LA would come up with a regulation to prohibit it.
This is a great idea, John Leake. They are cute. I hope you get your article to Trump.

We've been doing this in Texas, for a long time.
Goat herd sharing is a great idea. Good thinking. Natural Fire Safety.

When confusion is created, the opportunity for “takings” by those in power is advanced. It is an age old tactic, one used by G Soros to great effect.
I like your use of "pulling down strings."
Goats are not the answer. Dyed blue goats are the answer as they don't catch fire.
LOL!
If you're serious, would this have to do with methylene blue?
More to do with the fact that this felonious federal government can’t set houses with blue roofs on fire with its orbital laser cannon…
