This is the second time this week that the Good Doctor has written an article promoting the good results from GLP-1 drugs with nary a mention of the ill side effects that many suffer. Unfortunately this seems to be the conventional wisdom among doctors who are writing prescriptions for these drugs seemingly unaware that there can be a downside. Kind of reminds me of the mRNA vaccines that the doctor has done so much to fight.

As I mentioned in a comment on the previous article, my experience with these drugs was very harmful. If you haven't seen it already, here is my Substack about, "My year of living painfully!"

Just as heart attacks aren't caused by insufficient statins, obesity and diabetes aren't caused by a lack of synthetic venom peptides. A relative of mine, a diabetic MD, had an experience similar to yours.

Constant media exposure to “before-and-after” transformations fuels the desire for people to achieve rapid results. Constant media exposure to smoking made harmful products look alluring back in the day also. Like the end of smoking commercials, the new administration will put an end to pharmaceutical advertising, replacing it with attractive healthy lifestyles, and slowly but surely Americans will become healthy again.

Stop eating seed/vegetable oils (Olive and Avocado are fruits), HFCS, Corn Syrup and Synthetic Colors and Flavors. All this creates inflammation. Then go organic bs synthetic pesticides ruins the gut microbiome causing leaky gut. Inflammation causes fat accumulation.

It’s very hard to find organic food where I live. Ordering it online is way too costly with high shipping charges. I’m now living in a retirement home and they feed us one meal a day. It’s usually full of seed oils. Everything is “grilled” on a flat griddle. Hard to get just plain steamed veggies without some sauce. I’m hoping that RFK Jr, who would be Oz’s boss at CMS will be able to make changes at my certified Continuing Care Retirement Community.

Why was this article written without ANY of the terrible side effects listed ???

I wonder about the long term effects on lifespan and quality of life. Likely these people are already on several medications. I look at the obituaries for my home town everyday. While I don't do any real analysis it just seems there are too many dying under the age of 70.

What about the side effect of some having gastroparesis and other serious side effects? Maintaining weight through improved food supply and exercise is the way to go. RFK and his team will help in that regard.

Including Ozempic in drug formularies sounds like an excellent way to rapidly increase costs that must be paid by people who have not chosen to get fat from poor diet and lack of exercise.

Paul Alexander posted several times about the dangers of this medicine. But, if it is mostly Kamala voters taking it, then I will say no more.
