Bless the dissidents, if only for inspiring in others critical thinking skills, imagination and appreciation of the realm of possibilities.

reminds me of Steve Jobs:

"Here's to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes... the ones who see things differently - they're not fond of rules... You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can't do is ignore them because they change things... they push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do."

I would like to know how HE would have reacted to this mess if he were still living. His wife is woke; would he have been too?!

No!

We can hope so. Until we reach the other side we will have to keep guessing.

This is a field of study, design and implementation in which I have earned a professional living for the past 3 decades. I’d be happy to discuss your “big questions”. Better yet I should pull out my course material and do a session.

Greetings Jo, we are going to start posting audiovisual interviews on our Substack. I'd like to interview you and will be in touch about setting it up. Thanks for reading and commenting!

Thank you Peter. I look forward to hearing from you and your Team.

Excellent Doc! This is a real strategy with potential and understanding the logic of the "others".

I cannot help but ask: "Is there an optimum way out of this mess or are we destined to failure? AND, what profession are you in, psychology?

Expand full comment

Yes there is and I have been involved in work that is identifying possible solutions. My field is large scale behavioral, organizational and systems transformation. Sad but true is that there is demand for my experience and background from “the other side”. Not so, on this side of the fence. Tried. The blind spot of highly intelligent experts and specialists. I’m experienced in doing this work in academia as well as the medical profession. Very, very challenging as the field sticks with what it already knows. You see, that is my purpose on Substack.

When will you WRITE a stack? I'd like to hear more about your studies....Especially on what makes some of us "different" than the majority.....

Great question and yes I will absolutely share. Take good care.

Great to hear SOMEONE is working on this area. Blind spot is CORRECT!

It is TELLING that the good folks on our side are resistant and oblivious to the concern that, to us, is SO obvious. Sad.

Another way out as another substack says DO NOT COMPLY! It can be as simple as ignoring EVERYTHING they say. Or not paying taxes which go to the IMF. I've been doing that for years.

I think Burning Bright too, but he started it.

I reckon I'm like a canary in a coal mine. Outliers spread the risk to the tribe. A dissident can be like a Court Jester. Only he can mock the powerful, to suggest that, indeed, the emporer has no clothes.

I am a rebel with a purpose - speaking Truth to tyranny. Thank you Dr. McCullough & John Leake for being the trail blazers - deeply appreciate your honesty & courage. GOD is the wind beneath our wings ...

Spot on. And I believe this is why societies that protect free speech tend to be more overtly creative and more prosperous.

PS Speaking of whalers-- charmed to see your post-- perhaps you know it already, one of my favorite books happens to be the history of the 1825 Globe Mutiny recounted by Greg Gibson in DEMON OF THE WATERS

I'm not getting it. They didn't follow the captains plan ( the orthodox one)...which mght have saved them...instead they took the longest route...and ended up eating each other???

What am I missing here?

Expand full comment

I understand your confusion. Captain Pollard was the dissident, unorthodox voice, and not one who tried to exert his authority. Owen Chase apparently had a more forceful personality. The orthodox belief of Nantucket Quakers at the time was that one would be eaten by cannibals if one landed in the Marquesas. Apparently this wasn’t, in fact, a likely outcome in 1820.

This as I see it is going on a very 'school-like' path unlike the way most others have approached it. If I understand it.

Thanks John Leake. That makes sense.

Great article - Our society has lost respect for the wisdom of the minority.

Unified tribe is scary to me. How different is this than a mob or mafia? Despite how unified you may be towards some cause or actions, you must always retain your individualism and ability to think for yourself.

I find this a little shallow in the theme of division. Please forgive me for saying that.

Unity is a major theme, and imho, the unity of 'many in body, one in mind' is the axiom of unity. However, this does not mean all have the same opinion.

Having the same goal emphasizes cooperation and brotherhood, and when a decision is taken, all strive to achieve it.

Division is someone saying, "yes they chose thst way, I chose another but I was forced to follow", for instance.

I have personally found that when all in the group have a high goal and that target is towards an elevated life-state, the collective energy is driving amazing results.

I honestly believe true unity is the basis for achieving any societal or other purpose.

I feel its more about going together, than who was right.

In the end, focusing on unity will bring more unity, while focusing on division will bring more division.

You said "I have personally found that when all in the group have a high goal and that target is towards an elevated life-state, the collective energy is driving amazing results."

Can you define "high goal" and "elevated life-state"? Both scare me in the context of "group" energy.

Expand full comment

high goal is for example peace in the world, or helping a group member overcome a tough issue.

And elevated life-state is, as we say in Buddhism, a higher state of life. For example, becoming wiser, more courageous and indestructibly happy.

I am sorry if i was not very clear, i try to keep replies to articles as short as possible.

Actually perfectly defines Darwin. Societies that affirm a poor decision will eventually fail as do people who make the wrong choices. Group dynamics typically swing to the best logical argument, if furnished suitable data. We have a rather corrupt press so citizens are deprived of data but bit-by-bit the citizens discover they have been fooled and seek alternative data and viewpoints. They can see themselves how they have been fooled. Many are now seeking alternative views and finding them. Eventually their voices will be heard.

A great piece to spur us to think. What if the bulk of people thought one way, to my thinking wrong, the others right. A NATIONAL DIVORCE? Well no, the left is petrified of that or any big shakeup such as a NATIONAL STRIKE. So what do they do? Wage war against us. Do you see the insanity in that? People still have 20 times the fire power compared to the government, the numbers even larger. Cabal is falling apart, Central Banks are failing, for one of the first times I can say we are winning!

John and all,

I do not understand this very confusing post highlighting a very important BIBLICAL quote… “'A house divided against itself cannot stand.” (Matthew 12:25)

TODAY…not some obscure historical event…Isn’t the Republican Party the BEST example in the political world of the relevance of this important historical biblical story?

Where are the real Christian men today? Aren’t they the ones who will be capable of saving America, knowing what the Bible says about evil? These are ones I will call true heroes!

P.S. Want a suggestion for a very relevant issue…https://oig.hhs.gov/newsroom/media-materials/nightingale/

How can any one trust any medical professionals with fake degrees handed out by recruiters the past few years?

Were fake degrees handed out to all the foreign medical professionals sent here because of hospital shortages EVERYWHERE due to many here quitting over forced shots?

Expand full comment

According to my experience, the medical profession began a noticeable and ongoing decline with the imposition of Obamacare. That was when I began to hear doctors criticizing the situation and leaving the profession because they didn’t want to tolerate the imposition of mandatory mediocrity. Talented and conscientious men are looking elsewhere to invest their lives.

The last few years has vindicated their judgment. American medicine has been weaponized by the globalist fascist tyranny.

Don’t know anything about fake degrees.

Grandfather of 7 and busy.
