What happened to the artists who have historically seen the corruption first and communicated through their art. There are a handful of artists that have challenged the establishment's motives and morality, RC The Rapper, Five Times August, Kid Rock, Hi Rez and Jimmy Levy and few other Country music artists. As you said, how can Young and Mitchell not see the irony between their music and their reaction to this pandemic fraud??? It is truly mind-boggling.
