It's become a sort of Bizarro World where one "tribe" has gone completely off the rails deeply into racism, predation toward women and children, the complete destruction of family, community & country - and then exactly as mapped out by Saul Alinsky so many years ago, they project onto the other "side" (as in anyone who doesn't consent) of being the culprits. It's insane, and now they favor censorship so that the sane people can't even object. Lost in all of this are the truly mentally ill, who for years have been neglected and abused by the very same psychology professionals who are tasked with helping them, and the chronically physically ill from foods and drugs that should never have been allowed by our compromised regulatory agencies, scientists & doctors. It's difficult to remain optimistic in this environment, but we must fight this with everything we have, for the sake of future generations.

Interesting. Matt Walsh touched on this in a recent video about the "Covid Conscious." The Left is creating more & more islands of insanity into which persons can seek identity & refuge. This is one way they grow their tribe.

It will be interesting to watch the implosion as these incongruent factions clash with each other. It's started in Michigan last year with a majority Muslim county banning Pride flags.

Please clarify who you consider “the left” because most of the people I know who despise Trump also do not consider themselves “the left” they consider themselves against an incompetent charlatan. End of story. So if you keep electing a boob for the candidate of your party then you encourage more and more people to have to vote for the Democrat making YOU responsible for anything that happens when “the left” is in power. Find a better candidate and stop spending all your time demonizing those who can simply see clearly that a con man is a con man.

I think they define themselves pretty well - they are the Biden/Kamala supporters who favor open borders, child sexual mutilation, the destruction of the nuclear family and intact communities, expanding the bureaucratic state, opposing free speech & the 2A, court packing, perpetual wars, a weaponized judicial system, and more Marxist economic destruction. I did not favor a second Trump term because he failed to effectively combat a lot of this, but now that he has some better people around him, we may stand a chance of saving our Republic. One thing for sure is that we'll get far worse with Kamala. The choice is binary and obvious, no matter what you think of him personally. Ron DeSantis was the best candidate we've had in decades, but here we are. Two choices. Choose wisely.

I agree with you, Sweet Mama. Although I have a different view of Trump. I may not like his style, but God sends us who we need to combat the horrors of evil. At this point it is Trump.

@AussieManDust You must be on drug or in coma during Trump’s first term in 2017-2020. He was not perfect, but Trump single-handedly prevented any new wars from happening. What kind of idiot are you to condemn Trump like you just did?

May I ask you: What have the Australians contributed to the global peace and security? The answer is Zero. You guys elected tyrannical governments with monsters as leaders trampling on human rights of Aussies like yourself.

At least the American people DIDN’T elect Biden and Harris who stole the election by committing massive frauds in 2020.

It strikes me from little England that it was the election of the crook, Hilary Clinton, that got Trump elected. If the Democrats had selected a decent honest leader then the problem would never have arisen.

Sorry, that excuse doesn't fly. You may not like Trump, I certainly don't. But the fact is he did a better job as POTUS, for the largest percentage of all Americans, than has any of your last 4 selections, 2 of whom are not even Constitutionally eligible, or actual citizens! And ONLY the person doing is responsible for is acts; those voting or otherwise responsible for putting him in that position ARE responsible for knowingly doing that, but not his acts. No one else bears any accountability.

The liberal “donates” taxes to the church of government, and receives benefits back from the church of government, thus leading to worship because it’s the only religion that returns “free” money and services after you “donate“. The poor donor receives benefits, the rich donor receives subsidies for their business.

For the person who worships material things, it’s a much more beneficial church. For the short term.

I stake my claim to the term "libtard" from 2008/2009 on ZeroHedge. (alias "hooligan2009" as I was working back then - I still post my SubStack articles in the comments occasionally).)

It was part of a general term describing the socialists who had take over the Democratic Party.

"Libtard demoNrat socialist welfare statists".

I held the view back the that the majority of Americans were not socialists.

I would also cite the "lying, cheating and stealing" inherent back then amongst socialist democrats. Turns out, cheating can dominate elections, back then and now!

Expand full comment

Ah, the elections. The libtards may "concede" that the cheating was not "enough" to change the outcome. Or, the cases did not have evidence to prove fraud. Then if you discuss the cases that were finalized in 2021, 2022 or 2023, they say not listening, not listening. Of course there is TDS and "sorry the shooter missed"! These are from people that still are even talking to me because I called it a fraud since 2020 and those friends and family are long out of the picture.

So how do I know that I’m not the possession of an ideology? My answer: I went through my anti-Trump phase. I voted for Stein in ‘96. I was authentically worried that Trump would declare himself Emperor for Life.

Then January 6th happened. Bored of the same 5-minute loop of Official Footage, I went to Alex Jones’ “Infowars” to see what the crazies were reporting. The scene was radically different from what I’d seen on CNN a minute before: people in Trump “uniforms” having barbecues on the Washington Mall, laughing, having fun…

And I thought, well, Trumps presidency was nowhere near as bad as I’d feared it would be.

The enlightenment continued through the Biden/Harris admin to the point at which, now, I think Trump might actually be a true patriot and might, along with RFKjr, Tulsi, and his Team of Rivals, do great things for our ailing country.

Still I wonder how one knows for sure that they’re not ideologically possessed…

Expand full comment

I’m glad you have become enlightened. Much of the video footage from J6 that the original J6 Cmte tried to hide from the public tells a very different story of what happened on J6. One of the most disturbing things I saw was a female cop bludgeoning to death Roseann Boylan to death. As a member of the crowd tried to administer CPR to her, he was pulled away and her body was pulled back into the building. I watched as the police shot munitions into the crowd and tear gas, agitating the crowd. I saw other members of the crowd being given CPR. Four protesters were murdered that day by our own government. I fume at the constant lies told about Trump. I see the censorship that is going on. The current administration is a totalitarian government. I’m just someone with her eyes open to see the attack on our Constitution and the freedom loving patriots of this country.

I saw the constant 'wait, wait, the big reveal is coming soon' as a holding technique, stopping action.

I do not believe that all instantly reject new information thereby protecting their mindset. If I thought that, I would never approach others with new ideas and questions (quest). A new concept begins a conception. New information, if looked into, can recontextualize current held views. It is good to have one's views disturbed. The new information can be dissected and brought against the truth, for me, those concepts are revealed in the inerrant Scripture. Fifteen years ago, I was an avid believer in vaccines. My son-in-law said he was not going to go through childhood vaccinations of his children, my grandchildren. I was aghast, he would ruin them, I thought. From then on, I delved into his claims of the harms vaccines hold, and read Dissolving Illusions from cover to cover. I have turned 180 degrees. Having one's world shook is healthy. Your libtards reject looking into new concepts and double down on failed processes, always learning but never coming to a knowledge of the truth.

Their agenda greatly amplified, as is correctly pinned to 2008 following the disgusting periods of Bush1, (almost Perot) Clinton inserted, Bush2, then setting the stage for the "1st black POTUS (half white, part Arab, part black, raised and mentored entirely by communists) fomenting division, discord, extreme PC&wokeism, America very bad, and on and on . . .

I spend at least one day a week with a group of visual artists while working on various art projects. Needless to say, most are Libtards . Some of them are genuinely nice people, but are deluded by the propaganda of the left. A couple have left the group, because I and one other artist are Conservative.

Some consider themselves religious but attend congregations that are “progressive.”

My Conservative artist friend and I often discuss the State of America, today and they listen and sometimes interject their Libtard view into our discussions. We respond truthfully and back it up with real facts, real history, and truth in a polite manner.

None of them have seen the light, as the darkness of the leftist propaganda machine is dominating their minds.

But, most still come to the group meetings except the couple that left early on.

I am hoping and praying that they will eventually see what truth is.

There's a neighbor here who has a statue of a large blue bird - it looks like a blue-footed Booby, but the whole thing is blue and very large. This am, the bird is dressed in winter clothing. I told them that the bird in their yard is illegal - it's against the Endangered Species Act to hold that bird captive in their yard, and now, of course, they have disguised the bird so that the Endangered Species cops can't track it down. Guess what? People don't even realize when someone is joking.

As the number of disenfranchised grows so, too, will the number of Marxists grow. Thus, the formula instigated by Obama and continued through Biden and Harris is very simple. Continue to disenfranchise people by making them stupid starting in elementary school. Fortunately, young men have begun leaving the university system at a high enough clip to start to claw back some of the delusional young women so we know the rational part of the human mind is quite different between the sexes. Let's hope this biological difference combined with continuing shame to all of the young whores that the US Department of Education creates will diminish to the point that there will be a stamping out of the lunacy.

Sure, there will always be people like my brother who choose to leech and mooch off of society (and his widowed mother) their whole life, never learning a single useful hard or soft skill who will support what they believe the easy path to feeding their fat faces but as long as the world requires hard men to do hard work and women desire to be with them, Marxism is going to have a hard time reaching another Stalin-esque critical mass. (Lord, let it be so.)

We are all susceptible to possession by an ideology, whether it is a religious ideology, medical, political, philosophical etc....There's war when opposing ideologies run into each other. Healthy skepticism, humility and critical thinking toward our own positions are the antidote. There is no point arguing with someone inhabited by an ideology. We are being lied to by our own minds. It says, "Accuse someone else. " Unconscious self-deception is the problem. However, there can be a cost to discovering the fault lines, it can mean alienation from a Church and the community it provides. For doctors during covid, the cost was often their medical license. I have been wrong so often on issues where I was certain I was correct. There is no point arguing with someone inhabited by an ideology. At a personal level tolerating other points of view promotes harmony despite differences of opinion. The problem is when a dangerous ideology overtakes society at large it violates the liberty others are entitled to by virtue of being born, and tolerance is not an option. We cannot tolerate the vaccine ideology that requires that children are exposed to aluminum etc...in order to attend school, or any medical interference as described in the Nuremburg code.
