But it's called "dying and coming back in a new body" (of the opposite gender)! All you can do is mutilate the body you were born into. And a castrated male becomes a EUNUCH, NOT A WOMAN!!!!
Someone needs to show what the mutilation looks like to these kids. Not the fantasy version. It isn’t the panacea to have doctors try to recreate the opposite sex in surgery. If I had been told I could be a boy when I was a tomboy and wasn’t told about the risks and permanent hormones which menopausal women are afraid to take because of risk of cancer, I would have said, sure!

There is no logical reason for it: using LMP (Last Menstrual Period) as the date that the baby begin forming, which is in a woman with normal cycles around two weeks before she actually becomes pregnant, underscores both pro choice and pro life people. For those who are pro choice the woman is already two weeks pregnant before she becomes pregnant, which moves her trimester dates up accordingly. Indeed most women don't even learn of the pregnancy until they are 7-9 weeks along, and that is if she's on top of things and has pretty regular cycles. For the pro life contingent, the moment of conception would be the most important. That LMP as the date the baby begins forming can also cause unneccessary family stress. When I became pregnant with my second daughter it was on the first cycle we tried upon returning to Thailand to be with my husband. I'd landed there from America around the time my period had started, so when my husband went with me to some prenatal screenings and learned that our daughter was dated as two weeks earlier when I was in the USA he became very jealously convinced that I had had a quick fling with my ex or something right before leaving. How many husbands don't even voice that concern but have it? Of course my husband was Thai and our daughter looks just like him, which quieted his fears. But was there ever a rational reason to use LMP as conception date?
