They live vicariously. It’s quite exciting to imagine oneself as the fearless, fuck you, I’m not your property and I don’t answer to corrupt losers. You’re going to answer to me, to them!

And be ready to act on it. As we watch what happens to those who are perceived as a threat. Particularly when you’re on the wrong side of narrative. Stand up to the Marxist-Jihadists, the unidentified hordes crashing the borders, BLM/Antifa violent mobs… 100,000 Americans attended the J-6 “ Stop The Steal “ Rally. They weren’t armed , they weren’t violent, but the few who “ acted out”, set up and and encouraged by FBI plants, pepper-sprayed, beaten, shoved into the people in front of them , crushed, framed.. 1200 Americans imprisoned in solitary 23 hours daily. Without hearings, attorneys, allowed phone calls, family visits, daily, beaten, denied medical treatment, without a hearing, a trial, threatened, coerced… Denny Tarrio was sentenced to 37 years. He was in Miami and had no involvement. Brandon Straka, the gay hairdresser who had enough of the Dem tyranny, switched to Trump and started #WalkAway , which grew till a massive grassroots movement. Completely non-violent, really kind, wonderful people of every faction of the spectrum… was prosecuted, terrorized, imprisoned, broken. His crime? He attended the rally, had a permit to congregate with a small group of members on the lawn, removed from the throng.

You are sooooo correct, Gail! I fear for the future of this country. Even if Trump can overcome the cheating Demonrats in the upcoming election and win, the Demonrats have vowed to keep him out of the White House. They have promised that they would not certify his election. I pray for Trump’s safety because the Demonrats really will stop at nothing to stop Trump. Sentencing for a sham NY trial in September before the election, A failed assassination attempt in Butler, PA, and the other day his plane had to be diverted due to mechanical trouble on the way to a rally in Montana. Too many “coincidences” make one wonder.

Great post and a great list, though I think you missed Alex Jones, who first raised the alarm 25 years ago, among other things predicting in the summer of 2001 that there would be an attack on the World Trade Center that would be blamed on Osama bin Laden. Jones has had many of the people you listed on his broadcast. FBI agent William "Bill" Aldenberg, never named by Jones but pointed out by many as the "Sloppy Sniper" at Sandy Hook for carrying his rifle upside down by its magazine, was awarded something like $90 million from Jones because the FBI office in Connecticut received a single call asking if Aldenberg worked there. Judges in both Connecticut and Texas declared Jones guilty before trial, which Jones and his lawyers were not permitted to dispute, and the juries' only role in both cases was to determine the amounts to be awarded. Similar lawfare was later waged against Trump (34 felonies!).

And Orwell was an optimist.

The object of torture is torture. The object of power is power. Now you begin to understand me.” —George Orwell, 1984

I've often thought of something that may seem kind of strange - that we could accomplish more if we had less country to cover, an easier, safer way to communicate with other, well-organized men. The men (and women) who fought in the great American Revolution communicated by going from town to town on their horses.

It’s like Stockholm syndrome. Only en mass. I will never understand why people can’t see it. Our govt is rogue- the world has become so small. During the 1970’s people couldn’t afford to fly anywhere- just imagined what people in France or Italy were doing. Lines at gas pump- could hardly get to work. Roll forward to 2024- we are heading there. Airlines got crushed a month ago, gas is expensive causing huge lines of people at cheapest stations, food prices are astronomical, kids education has been dying but 2020 covid put nail in coffin. Yet we have people yearning for Harris babble, dementia Joe, and communist, lying tampon Tim walz. Hard to get it

Looking at all Western societies, what you say is true, as many have observed. I'm reminded of the novella "The Time Machine". After several million years, mankind has evolved into 2 specifies: Eloi, who live above ground and Morlocks, who live subterranean. The Eloi are lazy, love their creature comforts, do not work, and are very apathetic and unconcerned, because the Morlocks provide them all their food, water, etc. But that comes at a price: the Morlocks eat the Eloi. People do want and crave security and sustenance and are quite willing to give up almost anything to someone or some group that promises to provide. All socialist ideologies are based on this simple concept. We who are unvaxxed see this everyday in those who do not want to revisit the catastrophe that started in 2021. Even if they are sick, have family/friends who are, or have lost loved ones to the injections, for the most part, don't even want to discuss it, as that would be inconvenient and disturb their 'wa". It's especially acute in Europe, but we're catching up.

Yes. Denial is a defense mechanism that has proven indefensible time and again. Most notably , the” Never Forget” seemingly forgotten Holocaust. The adage…I’m paraphrasing…” History repeats itself when good people do nothing”.

How many times have you heard people ask,” How did it happen?”. By surrendering weapons, quietly submitting, believing that so long as I obey, it will soon pass. And the rest told themselves “ nothing to see here” and eventually, “ They deserve it” And then there were the. abetters who thought they could protect themselves and the Soros variety, who had the protection of a fake identity and a family who covered for him by pretending he was their nephew. But young Georgi was all too eager to work with the Nazis, turning in family friends and neighbors, seizing their property and boarding them into cattle cars. He’s quite wistful, describing those as “ the best years of my life”. No remorse, no guilt, comparing what he did to making money playing the market. “ Why not? If I didn’t do it, somebody else would”. And he’s the god worshipped at the alter of the Democrat Party. And as the Marxist- Jihadist psychopath icon “ protesters”, many of them Jews, LGBTQ, Black, and seemingly braindead march, carrying Hamas, Iranian and Soviet flags chant, “ Death to Israel”, “ Death To America”, “ Hitler was right” quote Marx, praise Stalin, Mak, Bin-Laden, Farrakhan , interspersed with “ Allahu Akbar” and the rest of the Jewish Dems remain silent or show support, as the antisemitism crosses the Kristolnacht threshold and the Communism goes full on Stalin, they trash Republicans, Independents and Democrats who push back. But it’s those who are silent.. they are the enablers who champion their own demise. Because “ it’s just a phase. If I pretend there’s nothing to worry about.. well, there isn’t.

The person who is diagnosed with cancer but is in denial, allows it to fester- because if I ignore it , it doesn’t exist. And then they cease to exist.

But obedience and submission invariably work out beautifully.

I loved this one, John Leake. I may read up on these powerful men, and the Age of Piracy, to see what else was going on at the times you referenced. I guess you picqued my interest. Hmmm, vampires, no, too scary, and too much London rain, like the Pacific Northwest, where I live. Pirates? - well, as long as they are singing, "Ho,ho, ho, and a bottle of rum."

My husband would read Treasure Island aloud to our daughter (and me), when she was 12.

I think that was about the time the movie, Braveheart, starting Mel Gibson, came out, On his restless steed, Gibson rallied his men on the front lines, with something like, "Aye, fight, and you will may die. Run, and you will live for another day, but someday as you lie dying in your bed, you'll wish that you had given your life for FREEDOM!"

Now, to me, THERE'S an attractive man, and he still is. He still makes movies celebrating the underdogs.

Early in 2020 when Trump announced the travel ban from China after reports of virus came out, as he was being called a xenophobe by D's China was signalling in all of its English language news outlets that banning international travel over pandemic influenza went against all known medical science. That it was an irrational political act for the US that would harm its and global interests. Correctly stating that no pandemic preparedness pre-2020 plans called for international travel bans, pandemic influenza doesn't respect national borders. They don't work.

China's editorials and pleas for the Trumo administration to reconsider the ban went on for nearly two months, escalating in intensity and caution to the US about where it would lead. Highlighting the global stakes, how if that's what the US was going to do then it would be an opportunity for the world to see a great comparison between the two competing systems of government, collectivist authoritarianism vs. individualist democracy.

China reasoned that both systems had advantages and disadvantages. And while individualist democracies are more innovative and creative in normal times that in a crisis the public prefers the strong hand of authoritarianism. They understood the same lessons you describe the Romans knew.

And the pre-2020 pandemic plans, US and WHO understood those lessons, highlighted the dangers of travel bans being wielded during a pandemic. Reasoning that when nations blame other nations for spreading infectious disease that leaders of nations will in turn blame their own population for spreading infectious disease. And dangerous authoritarianism would be ushered in. A sort of shit rolls downhill, blame-shifting occurs, politicians not wanting to be blamed for any ensuing deaths. Not their fault - it's the disobedient! It doesn't matter if it's nobody's fault, once it becomes a blame game, as travel bans are, politicians are blame-averse.

Even the ACLU's earliest press releases on the travel ban cautioned about the dangerous slide into authoritarianism that Trump's travel ban could lead to. And they were all correct. China, ACLU, xenophobe accusing D's.

Until they all joined Trump in being wrong. As the first lockdowns were announced all who cautioned about dangerous tyranny suddenly reversed course and joined Trump's heavy hand, at first just for "two weeks to flatten the curve." That became a month, and then years.

As Trump tried to walk back his restrictions his most vocal early critics tried to out tyrannize each other. They saw what China (and Romans) described about the people preferring the strong hand of authoritarianism in a crisis and saw political opportunity in being tyrannical. The sad fact is that most people supported the most tyrannical politicians in the states that imposed the harshest restrictions. While many freedom loving people protested and lamented, many moving to free-er states if they could, most of the tyrants were rewarded at the ballot box.

China was right. The Romans were right. And Trump was wrong. The January, 2020 travel ban from China was the original sin of the pandemic. Trump's opponents tried to warn him. When he ignored the medical science and treated infectious disease with political science his opponents took full advantage of the opening he gave them and applied social and behavioral science treatments themselves. A type of science they were much more adept and stronger than Trump in. Applied psychology. Of fear. Fear amplification. His opponents became the tyrants they warned Trump was. And haven't turned back.

Only their tyrannical excesses and Trump's attempts to reverse course make him preferable to them for freedom supporters. A terrible choice we've been given. If only Trump had read his Roman history we never would've had the calamity of the past 4.5 years forever alter and scar our world. All we are left with is learning from it and waking up to the grave peril we are in. The undercurrents of global tyranny were already there pre-2020. If his actions accelerated and exposed them earlier than were planned, giving the resistance a fighting chance to fend off a planned totalitarian dystopia then it will have been worth it. But that's on us now.

China's statements and pre-2020 pandemic plans, CDC, WHO, etc were specific to pandemic influenza, infectious *respiratory* disease. As I stated early in my comment. TB/MP aren't respiratory diseases. And you have to know MP is a BS fear-mongering device today. Nothing extraordinarily menacing about it.

Trump wanted to stop the “virus” from gaining a foothold here by cutting it off at the alleged source. He wasn’t looking to lockdown the world. That's not how airborne respiratory diseases are spread. Can cross entire oceans with no human transmission. Animals, wind currents, dust clouds. That's why travel bans and lockdowns don't work. All science pre-2020 knew that. The science didn't change. The *type* of science changed. Social science substituted for natural. To control society. Not control nature.

No. "Early strains" were BS. A product of the test scam that was covid - before it got real by way of the "vaccines" themselves.

What was passed off as Covid was a bad flu season. Pre-vaccine all flu was deemed "covid" by health care providers. Official 2020 statistics report zero flu deaths after they announced covid was a threat. All flu-like symptoms reported as covid, at least in the US, UK and Europe. Dunno about AU & NZ. Complete and total BS. Defies common sense and logic. And PCR tests were/are faeces, 95% false results. Throwing darts at a phone book page is more accurate.

AU & NZ got their pandemic of illness and death *after* the DeathJabs/ClotShots were put into arms. Just like India and everywhere they were "safely and effectively" injected. Oddly, places like Africa and the Caribbean where they weren't had no pandemic, no excess deaths. Or not so oddly. RFK Jr's book The Real Anthony Fauci has all of the global charts that expose the same pattern.

The "early strains" pandemic was 98% Fear Porn media and rhetoric by politicians citing Fake Tests, 1% biological, 1% chemical. Then the poisonous experimental biotech took over.

Re "pre-vaccine all flu was deemed "covid"

You also need to refine this statement. As a result of full border lockdowns, and a fully compliant nationwide 6 week lockdown all flu vanished - we had neither covid nor flu. We had NEGATIVE excess deaths - 6000+.

Re "All flu-like symptoms reported as covid"

You also need to refine this statement. It is utterly false, certainly with respect to Australia.

Re "And PCR tests were/are faeces, 95% false results"

This statement is utterly false, apart from 1 test of many hundreds - that of the CDC.

Australia and New Zealand had an early wave of covid, MOST WENT UNDETECTED due to the lack of tests, but this early wave was snuffed out by the lockdowns in all Australian states but one - Victoria. In full lockdown over 4 months a wave of 800 deaths went through the aged care homes, and was extinguished.

The vaccines went into arms beginning late February - months of vaccines - millions and millions of tests in covid zero - ZERO false positives. Your argument is utterly deluded.

TRY to face the truth. Try to find your inner Julian Assange.
