As an engineer I know how anything I design will function when built. I fully expect the "designers" of the Covid vaccines knew a lot about how their various components would react in the body, the expected adverse effects, the effects of impurities that could not or would not be removed from the vaccine, etc. They knew but to reveal this would mean the loss of their multi billion dollar golden egg.
I am also an engineer. I agree with you, when a design is based on well-understood engineering principles and good science, the engineer knows how the design will perform when used as intended.
When trying to extend the boundaries of technology, unexpected things can happen. The recent Titanic submarine accident is such an example. The danger there was enhanced by the hubris of an owner who disregarded the warnings of experts in the field.
Even in everyday engineering, we sometimes have to test the alloy in an autoclave to see how it will stand up to the fluid being drawn out of the oil well, or test the weld procedure for joining two types of metal. We can't always know in advance.
I do agree with you, they should have at least known what questions needed answers, and followed through, so I'm not at all excusing the designers of the vax. Just my opinion, there was too much money hanging in the balance to allow the designers, manufacturers, and regulators to maintain objectivity. To be blunt, greed got in the way.
They knew that it would injury and kill yet those inside the government, that would NOT enjoy the financial gain, fully supported and mandated its use. There is something afoot here beyond just profit and greed.

My 50 year old sister died of a brain aneurism shortly after her jab. I don't know which one she received. The most infuriating part is the day before she was out shopping, felt dizzy, fell and bumped her head. She went to the hospital and basically they blew her off and sent her home. The key question here not addressed in your article is this: What was the risk of stroke within 21 days for those who got no COVIOD shots but did get COVID? Did those without shots have a greater or lesser risk of stoke from COVID itself?
It's possible that during the first 21 days, the risk of stroke was higher in those that got shots. But what about after those 21 days? Was the risk of stroke lower or higher for those who got shots?
