'I will not use them [propaganda terms in the form of personal labels] in referring to another person and encourage the same back from them.' Well said, everyone should pursue this approach. The list can be extended in a wider political context to include terms such as 'racist', 'sexist', 'fascist' etc., which are throwaway labels used to shut down challenge and debate.

I agree, I will not sling around propaganda terms. I simply do the scholarship, analyze, and give my interpretation of the findings. All within protections of the First Amendment. Ridiculous and dangerous meetings, policies, and publications on "misinformation" will go down in history as the beginning of totalitarianism in science and medicine.

Very troubling times. Chasing the truth is exhausting and frustrating. Thanks Dr. M!

Freedom in the medical market would fix this. We are far from it. Benjamin Rush warned us that medicine would organize itself into a dictatorship unless Medical Freedom was pout into the constitution. So here we are... The solution to this problem will not be found inside of the current medical structure, as it is rife with corruption, and completely one-sided. The solution can only be found inside of a NEW paradigm - one that eliminates the current medical monopoly and replaces it with a medical system that allows for true freedom of choice for the consumer, freedom of research, and freedom from the thuggery of the AMA.

Name calling is the last refuge of the intellectually bankrupt who refuse or are incapable of making their case in plain language. Terms like "mis/dis/mal information" and "conspiracy theories"are simply variations on the theme and must be called out whenever they appear.

Used to be name-calling was the preserve of schoolyard bullies to intimidate victims, increasingly it is used by politicians and scientists to shut down debate. At its worst, it is used to dehumanise - indeed pathologise - the "other": a dissident, a political opponent, a class or race of people. This is when atrocities kick in.

It must be stopped in its tracks. This paper and Dr.McCullough's endorsement is a great start. Thank you.
