"...the selected studies confirm that LGBT homicide is a major public health problem..."

For the life of me, I am at a loss to comprehend how homicide is a public health problem. Homicide is clearly a crime, not a health problem. I know this kind of thinking that the study details has been around for many years now, but it just doesn't make sense to classify crime as a health problem.

The only way that I can see that the two can be linked is being more specific about what kind of health is being referred to. If it is mental health, then sure, I can see it, but hasn't there been a big push to de-stigmatize and disconnect mental illness as a cause of violence?

When people are dying, public health examines the causes and how deaths can be prevented. The field of public health has studied domestic violence and learned ways of screening for abuse at medical appointments, and educating those who may be experiencing harm, so that they know what help is available. Medical guidelines for OB's say to be sure and screen for Intimate Partner Violence at lesat once a trimester during pregnancy because the violence may worsen during a pregnancy, and it can be a cause of death for pregnant women and their babies. The perpectrator is committing a crime, yet there are peer-reviewed evidence based counseling programs that have been shown to stop the violence, and for mother and baby during pregnancy, the risk to their health and their life is a problem that can be helped by their medical doctor. With trans people, turns out that the excessive doses of hormones and puberty blockers they must take for a lifetime may be harmful to their mental health and may contribute to the violence. Trans people ARE receiving medical treatment - men don't simply put on a dress or even "only" have surgery, if they do have surgery, but - they are taking powerful hormones and puberty blockers starting in adolescence to aid this "transition." There is some limited evidence that these drugs may contribute to rage and violence, though there is no question more research needs to be done. I will post separately some additional details. Sadly, this hormonal treatment was rushed into without necessary research on the effects.

Yet the psychological background leading to the openly visible tragic loss of a life is imho right there in the field of prevention and therapy.

And as we uncovered the wrongdoings of med sys in CoV, why stop there?

Look at the state psychological med sys is and run away.

Well, many books were dealing with especially BigPharMafia on psychic drug, supression of real benevolent ones eg CBD (and probably a trace of the other stuff too), and common 1st gen H1-blockers (here we are back at CoV, as they enable us to treat Virus in Brain without resorting to the classic fluvoxamine).

See eg

Deadly Psychiatry and Organized Denial by Peter C. Gøtzsche.

I found chronic irritable mast cells lead to 70+ symptoms in neurological/psychological domain. See

„Mast cell activation disease: An underappreciated cause of neurologic and psychiatric symptoms and diseases“ Afrin et al - PubMed

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/26162709/

They call it enhancing the probability of manifestation and measure some 100-FOLD of it. I call it causative :)

Chronic inflammation generally, especially also/mainly in brain, also prevents self-healing processes tl kick in, AND also distort your hormonal balance. In critical phases of development, well guess what. We produce children not enjoying a normal (if disruptive in puberty) developement of their hormonal system and sexual identity. Hm..

On the psycho pills often being cause rather than relief of symptoms see

And on cause of psycho ssri anti-depressants Pills for mass shootings (same calibre:) see here:

https://amidwesterndoctor.substack.com/p/the-decades-of-evidence-that-antidepressants

Now ask the question again:

Is this really only affecting some crime persecuting institutions totally overloaded, or could we apply CoV’s bitter and dire insight “treat early” on this topic as well?

Prevention is the earliest thus most effective time span for therapy.

I think everyone mindful should feel addressed by “crisis” in our society, and try to mend “feedback loops” (being broken is THE measure of grade of totalitarianism we live in, according to Prof. Desmet), so preferably the short paths with humanistic long-term positive outcomes could be favoured by us?

I have the utmost respect for Dr McCullough, but it has been clearly shown that medical journals have been co-opted to promote an agenda. I think the article in question here is an example. What are the numbers of LGBTQ homicides compared to suicides? I imagine that is a much larger issue with this population, and something health professionals should be studying.

Soon after news about the Nashville school shooting was reported, it was also reported that the shooter was a "trans" person who was apparently a biological female. At the same time, I also became aware of reports that that a total of four recent shooters have been "trans" biological females (who would have received male hormone injections to transition). While some news reports have speculated on psychosocial reasons that these individuals may have carried out these violent acts, the article from Liberty Counsel that I shared in a previous post below suggested some evidence that testosterone injections given to female mammals may cause or contribute to mental illness and violent behavior. Again, further research is needed, but on reading that article, I looked to see what may be known, from medical sources.

Usually when a drug receives FDA approval, there have already been animal studies to get preliminary information, then a series of studies in humans to show safety and efficacy for a particular condition. In the case of testosterone injections, I looked up "Testosterone Cypionate Injection" to find the "full prescribing information" as approved by the FDA. The published labeling states: Testosterone Cypionate Injection is an androgen indicated for testosterone replacement therapy in males for conditions associated with a deficiency or absence of endogenous testosterone." It also states: "Not for Use in Women Due to lack of controlled studies in women and the potential for virilizing effects, Testosterone Cypionate Injection is not indicated for use in women." Thus, as I suspected, the studies to show safety and efficacy in females were never done - it is not approved for use in females.

Further, within the FDA-approved labeling for this testosterone injection, it points out that some men abuse testosterone and similar male hormones by taking excessive doses for body-building or for athletic prowess. Testosterone is sometimes abused by men and also by women. In cases of testosterone abuse, many adverse effects have been reported including "serious psychiatric manifestations" such as "depression, mania, paranoia, delusions, hallucinations, hostility and aggression." (There are also other serious adverse effects listed, but I particularly selected the serious psychiatric effects to point out because they relate to the content of the article from Liberty Counsel that I had shared below; not sure whether this has any relevance to the meta-analysis that Dr. McCullough is reporting on.)

The article from Liberty Counsel indicated there could be unintended, unknown effects of the drugs / hormone treatments that trans people use daily over a lifetime, that have not been studied. I have not taken a comprehensive look at all the meds, but looked up testosterone injections after reading about the Nashville school shooter. While I was wondering about trans people who commit acts of violence, the meta-analysis is looking with concern at the problem of trans people becoming victims of violence. So, in regard to those who are victims of violence - is the whole cause of this problem some psychosocial factors - or could these drugs influence the behavior of trans people in ways that contribute to the development or escalation of violence that ends in homicide? I do get that the meta-analysis is about trans people who are victims, while I had been thinking about trans people who are perpetrators - and responding in part to Daniel who was questioning whether there is a health issue involved or only crime, and I'm just pointing out we don't actually have data on what the effects of these drugs are on biological men and on biological women. With females transitioning to male, taking testosterone may contribute to violent or aggressive behavior that perhaps would provoke retaliation? There is a lot we don't know because research has not been done - while untested "treatments" have been pushed on too many.

The full FDA prescribing information is here:

https://www.accessdata.fda.gov/drugsatfda_docs/label/2022/216318s000lbl.pdf

To reiterate - The FDA has never received data showing that testosterone is safe or effective in females, and at high doses, psychiatric symptoms and specifically aggression has been seen. I thought this was of interest in regard to cases of biological women shooting others while themselves apparently taking testosterone and puberty blocking drugs. On the other hand since males "transitioning" to female do not take testosterone, but take drugs to block testosterone, and instead would take estrogen, I have no idea whether that mix of drugs would have any bearing on violence in these 16 studies with 2,921 homicides involving gay and trans people, and the problem is, I don't think anyone has a very clear idea as to why these deaths occurred.

We know testosterone can create violent tendencies, so called roid rage usually from anabolic steroids, synthetic testosterone. Who knows what they do in females.

In looking at the cited study of violence, that involved M-F trans being killed. I suspect that might relate to a trans person involving a man who fears M-M sex. That seems to be the case when the trans person poses as a female prostitute but is discovered. That accounted for some 50% of the deaths analyzed. The paper has the solution "criminalization of homophobia". As if culture was that easy to change. Notable the paper observes such crime to be more frequent in Brazil, Mexico and the US.

In a humanistic world we would accept people as they are, and not hurt the in-betweeners or encourage them behaving according to their eggs or semen or both, and this would take out the pressure to undergo radical surgery.

Humanistic medicine makes the symptoms unnecessary.

Very easily achievable by treating the _society_, to more relaxed paths to deal with it.

But I feel it is a psyop to produce Eunuchs (not my analysis) to serve the new leading class, and to further divide the people so easier to be controlled totalitarian style.

There actually is some reason to at lesat suspect that the puberty-blocking drugs and excessive doses of hormones may be causing mental illness and thus contributing to the violence, and there is research that should be done, that has not been done. Here is an article from Liberty Counsel. (a nonprofit legal firm that apparently has handled some legal case(s) related to the rights of people with gender dysphoria to receive counseling that is not directed towards "transitioning.").

The aritcle from Liberty Counsel is titled ""Transgendered Cows" and Violence," Apr 5, 2023. Here are some short excerpts, but the entire article is not long, and is worth reading:

"“New science” of the 1970s pushed cross-sex hormone treatments for livestock. Some cattle ranchers who trusted that science wound up with herds of violent insane cows. Now those “treatments” are being foisted upon young girls – and, in some cases, with similar effects."

"In the 1970s, veterinary scientists encouraged cattle ranchers to use cross-sex hormone treatments to induce higher pregnancy rates in cattle herds. Billed as safe and effective, female cows were injected with testosterone, then released into the herd. The scientists claimed that the testosterone-fueled cows would have increased birth rates. Instead, the cows went mad."

"“These cows started out as docile herd animals,” said the cattleman. “After a testosterone injection and a slow-release implant, the animal's voices changed. They started bellowing with rage.”"

"“When unprovoked, [the injected cows] started attacking and ramming the wood and guardrail fences with their heads to try to tear them down to kill a person standing behind the fence,” Jack continued."

End of excerpts; the article also gives a case example of a female human who developed problems with rage and mental illness while taking high doses of testosterone. Her problems apparently stopped when the medication was stopped. The article is a very worthwhile read. These hormonal treatments have been implemented without adequate research. This article by itself is not "proof" of anything but certainly should point out the need for research before these treatments are pushed on children, which should have been long ago before so many people worldwide have been affected.

Link to this article is here, and certainly should give food for thought to any parent considering these "treatments" for their children. Though in today's legal climate, parents don't always get to choose what treatments will be provided to their children. Link:

Wow, thanks for a very informative series of posts. It makes sense that administering such hormones as testosterone should be done with great caution, and the veterinary experiences show why.

These experiments with human females should end immediately. This is a type of mental derangement. Parents that encourage it should be ashamed.

A lot of times it is school teachers urging these treatments and even "helping" students to transition without parental knowledge or consent. it's also medical doctors and counselors who are urging the transitions and bullying the parents - there is threat of child protective services taking the children away from parents who are not "gender affirming," or who object to hormones and mutiliating surgery. I have read of at least one case in which a teacher had clothing for a transitioning student to change into at school so that parents knew nothing about this adolescent wearing opposite sex clothing at school. So, yes, sometimes it's the parents, but it's also things like these, or I almost forgot, the doctor saying the child is at increased risk of suicide if the parent does not allow the transition - when actually it is the opposite. But some doctors say that, maybe some believe it but the opposite is the truth.

This broad and tragic dataset surely covers all sorts of miserable situations, including many in which people are killed because they are, or are perceived to be, M->F trans, male homosexuals or lesbians. To the extent the victims were not endangering or in some other way abusing anyone and that they were attacked for these reasons, this is pattern of deadly, oppressive, criminal behaviour.

However, just because someone is trans - genuinely trans not just thinking they are (see my comments to the previous article https://petermcculloughmd.substack.com/p/elevated-rates-of-autism-other-neurodevelopmenta) - and because many trans people have difficulties which are not easily resolved as a result of their brain development, and because such people are too frequently mistreated, harmed or killed does not mean that every trans person is all sweetness and light.

In the early 1990s I attended a gathering put on by a genuinely M->F trans friend and there were quite a few other M->F trans people there. One, in her early twenties, was quite attractive and not at all easily identified as a trans person. (I had to figure it out and check with my friend.) She (it did not seem reasonable to call this person "he") fully pretended to be a woman to the extent of forming a romantic relationship with a young man, who I talked to a little and of whom I formed a high opinion of. Both were of some Asian background, but living and working in Melbourne, Australia.

It was reasonable to assume that the young man wanted a girlfriend - and probably in the longer term a wife. The trans person was utterly, completely, deliberately, deceiving him. He had no idea he was pursuing - and probably in love with or hoping to be - a trans person. I did not know these people and I did not inform the young man of the situation, of which there was no doubt at all. I was appalled by this and had strong words with the trans person, who recoiled from everything I said.

I wish now I had spoken to the young man. Sooner or later he would have figured out what was happening, but in the meantime he was being abused in the most vile and disturbing manner, which would surely haunt him forever. This is something only a passably attractive M-F-M (physical sex, sense of self, attracted to) person can do to a normal heterosexual M-M-F male -and they can only do it with extreme deliberation and in violation of every proper principle of caring for and respecting other people. In this case the M->F trans person did it with the knowing support of some mutual friends, some of them trans. This makes me think very poorly of those people. My friend did not know them well, but I regard her involvement and silence as a complicity with the abuser.

I think only a subset of M->F trans people are attracted to males. I assume that only a very small subset of them would do anything like this. I suspect the law provides very little recourse for the victim of such vile abuse. To the extent that such abusers get beaten up, I am inclined to think they deserve it to a very large extent. It is an attack, and a complete violation to engage in physical and emotional intimacy as a male, under pretense of being a woman, with a person who only wants this with a woman.

The trans activist shit fest (see my previous comments - I support decent, real trans people and I think this is the greatest disaster for all trans and partly trans people, and for all those who have been tricked into thinking they are trans) is in large part driven by the spectre of trans people committing suicide if they are not supported and accepted in various ways which the trans activists insist everyone should bend over backwards to do.

It would not be surprising if genuine trans people, because of the mismatch between their sense of self and both their bodies and society's expectations of them, suffer other mental health problems and are more prone to suicidal ideation or actual suicide. They didn't choose the way their brain structure developed, so this is a problem and an argument for them being supported in ways which genuinely help. This does not mean that every demand of the trans activists should be acceded to. I am not sure how suicidal ideation can be reliably surveyed, since voluntary and self-identified sampling is surely going to be used, rather than a neutral, highly privacy invasive, approach of somehow forcing a sample of all people to disclose both their M/F sense of self and any suicide ideation or attempts.

Multiple surveys attest to this suicidality. (One is https://bmcpsychiatry.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s12888-021-03084-7.) But in the current social contagion, I believe that many who think they are trans are mistaken, so the whole situation is messy, tragic and even harder to understand and quantify.

The statistics, at least in the USA, were found (according to this 2019 analysis: https://quillette.com/2019/12/07/are-we-in-the-midst-of-a-transgender-murder-epidemic/) not to support an assertion of trans people being murdered at higher rates than non-trans people.

The situation now, with ostensibly trans everything being shoved in people's faced all the time, drag queens reading stories to youngsters, children's doubts about their identity being twisted by school and social pressure to make them think they are trans etc. etc. it would not be surprising if a few people become much more aggressive towards ostensibly trans people. A prominent M->F trans person was murdered in Atlanta a few days ago: https://apnews.com/article/koko-da-doll-kokomo-city-killed-transgender-0c02d2c623deffebceaa74912e308609 .

Those in stridently anti-homosexual and/or trans countries such as in Africa are less likely to think sympathetically about these people when they see the numerous excesses of the trans activist movement in Western countries, not least trans activists bashing women in New Zealand, and calling all women who reject the redefinition of the word "women" to include M->F trans people as "Trans Exclusive Radical Feminists".

We might expect more violence as a result of "trans everything being shoved in people's face".

"I think only a subset of M->F trans people are attracted to males." Hard to know. The one M->F trans I knew, who could easily be confused as a woman did date men. Some cross dressers actually are gay but present themselves as an alternative to a woman.

Now, more than ever, it's a parent's strong responsibility to keep track of their children - to make sure this grooming is not occurring - I have six grandchildren and I see it already - my first grade granddaughter had another girl in her class being inappropriate and this child accused a boy of touching her inappropriately - WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON IN THESE HOMES? WHERE ARE THE PARENTS? WHAT ARE THEY EXPOSED TO ON THE INTERNET? ON TV? No longer are children allowed to just be children - this all starts with parental control in my opinion. Two income families - daycare where you hand over the care of your child to complete strangers.
