Texas Gun Vault guy makes very good points, especially about the shooter intentionally racking the slide manually to eject the marked cases. Also, two related videos on firing the B&T Station Six popped up alongside the TGV2 video, and it it showed the motion for recharging the B&T (twisting, rather than racking) does not look like what was seen in the security video. As to whether the shooter was really an anti-insurance leftist or only leaving a false trail, I'd keep in mind that there are leftists with military training in Antifa and similar groups. Not every lefty is a woke knumbnuts.
I don’t think that it is ‘wildly speculative’ that shell casings saying ‘delay, deny, defend,’ were purposefully left at the crime scene, particularly as those words connect to a book on insurance companies/claims and the target of the killing was an insurance company CEO. The gun that was supposedly used has been compared to a gun that vets use with cattle, which needs to be used in fairly close proximity. There is the issue as to whether the addition photos of the gunman are actually of him, or a purposeful red herring, considering the additional photos appear to show him purposefully showing his face, turning to a camera, etc. NY police scuba team has been diving into the reservoir in Central Park, to look for the gun. They supposedly already found the backpack (presumably the grey one, and not the black one in the additional photos). It seems obvious that this whole situation is about insurance claims…..
If this was a lone shooter with a personal reason for the murder, then I expect the manhunt to continue and the perp to be found. If this was a "deep state" or other organized hit, then I expect the info about the search for the perp to slowly disappear from the news cycle and in a few weeks or months, an announcement be quietly made that the authorities have reached a dead end (pun intended) and "no one can really know" exactly what motivated the shooter, etc. Kind of what happened in the case of the Seth Rich killing. Watch the narrative and see how it "evolves".
The analysis given by the firearms guy in the YouTube video makes the most sense of anything I have heard so far. The shooter's movements in the video do not match the WWII gun. They match much better with the idea he was purposely ejecting unfired rounds to make a statement. This could be a diversion or a statement of the shooter's true motives but either way this matches the physical evidence better than anything else I have heard. Also, if this was a professional there is no way he would have been using a malfunctioning gun.
Great material for a true crime novel. Kay Griggs claimed Seals do this as the final part of training. Also where in the world have a large number of people become hardened to killing? Maybe Gaza? Mossad?
Thanks for the video! Jason explained it so well. It’s interesting how he said he believed he was a professional, and I was thinking, well, if he’s a professional, he’s made a lot of stupid mistakes; but when you hear, when the policeman approached him and he started shaking, I thought that was very odd. He wasn’t so calm and cool then.
I am really enjoying this who-done-it mystery we’re seeing play out. I think it’s a welcome distraction to everything that’s going on nowadays. I think a lot of people are having a good time with it.

Or possibly a faked death to put Thompson in a Witness Protection Program?

The words "delay, deny, defend" are exactly the words an insurance company would probably use internally about their strategy to avoid a claim.
The man's action was straight out of the movie "John Q.".

Altoona PA is on the news right now
Keep these articles coming. They offer not only ideas about the shooting, but they give insight into the mind and techniques of a writer.
If he was a professional then why was he so happy to expose himself to so many cameras?
Yes, his bold calm actions suggest he was not a novice.

Turns out the murderer is just another psychopathic intellectual brainwashed by the Left
