Woody Tells the Truth On SNL

Actor met with ridicule and opposition from brainwashed journalists.

On the evening of February 25, Woody Harrelson was the guest host of Saturday Night Live. Assuming the tone and posture of a jester such as Will Sommers in the court of Henry VIII—that is, playing the fool while speaking frankly to potentially dangerous people—the comedian and actor told his audience the truth. He began by saying that in the year 2019, he was presented with a movie pitch that was “the craziest I’ve ever heard.”

So the movie goes like this: The biggest drug cartels in the world get together and buy up all the media and all the politicians and force all the people in the world to stay locked in their homes. And people can only come out if they take the cartel’s drugs and keep taking them over and over," Harrelson said. "I threw the script away. I mean, who was going to believe that crazy idea? Being forced to do drugs? I do that voluntarily all day.

This morning a friend sent me a report on Mr. Harrelson’s monologue and a summary of mainstream media reporting on it, which characterized his remarks as “anti-vaccine conspiracy theory.” As the German philosopher, Arthur Schopenhauer, noted:

All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

Judging by commentary in Variety, the Washington Post, Rolling Stone, USA Today, Vanity Fair, Hollywood Reporter, the Daily Beast, Page Six, Yahoo Entertainment, TMZ, Forbes, and People, many American journalists are still stuck in the first brainwashed stage in their response to this truth. Though their particular egos may never allow them to accept this truth as self-evident, most of humanity eventually will.

A notable apostate from the current orthodoxy was Elon Musk, who tweeted of the media response:

Maybe they don’t realize that their propaganda is wrong.

It’s also notable that much of the commentary characterizes Harrelson’s monologue as “anti-vaccine” or “anti-vax,” even though he used the word “drugs” and not “vaccine.” This suggests that his critics are fully aware of the scheme that was imposed on us—lock everyone down, offer the vaccine as the sole and necessary way back to safety and normalcy, insist and even mandate that we all get it.

If only we could somehow persuade all of these benighted journalists to read it.
