Where are the “extensive” evaluations and therapy sessions? Therapy should be a minimum of weekly sessions for 2 years.
I read a young person can have one meeting with a psychologist and be given the green light.

they'll ask the parents, do they want a dead child or a live transgendered child?

Take a look at Canada & Australia. As bad, if not worse.
In Australia, not quite as bad as the US in self-declared "gender fluidity" numbers, yet, but in ideology and political capture, absolutely horrendous. New Zealand is worse than Australia. Although Trudeau is shockingly evil, the people in Canada are probably more awake to the issues.
