Disgusting. Blackhawks rotowashing US citizens who were trying to help is an utter disgrace.

It is sickening to me that we will likely never know the exact death toll. Lahaina proved it was possible to just slow roll the information and people won’t ask questions.

I think I live in a country that’s horribly corrupt but it’s yet to come up with anything’s that’s as hideous as you allude to here John. I believe we DO have one thing in our favour here in Canada though. That being……. the huge majority of Canadians actually hate Trudeau and all the totalitarian ideology he stands for. It’s way more than a deep dislike - it’s an intense hatred!! A number of recent poles tell us this, plus reader comments on EpochTimes reporting is VERY telling!!!

A lot of our children in America have been trained by their schooling to hate America. They knew what they were doing. They have planned this for many years. Unless this directly affects someone a lot of people continue to not see. They actually get angry when shown the facts too.

Yes, they do.

I guess when they get murdered by their government they will get their satisfaction.

Marilyn, I’ve felt the same way you do…that our government couldn’t possibly be THAT corrupt, but my POV is shifting. How do I reasonably account for their numerous MASSIVE and DEVASTATING failures? I don’t expect my government to protect me anymore. I know they aren’t coming, and it breaks my heart.

I agree. And if what the government does (or does not do) is not in alignment with morality, honesty, integrity, and does not make us proud (but ashamed), ………..

Just the same here in the UK and the rest of Europe from what I see. They’re going for gold and it’s all in plain sight. They don’t care about those of us that see it and rely on the naivety and ignorance of the masses due to the utter control of MSM. Our attack dog press stood down in 2020 also. The reluctance to build infrastructure is because America is a military nation and only knows destruction and building destruction products. Getting Neocons out of power would be a great help.

Expand full comment

The "reluctance" to build infrastructure is more due to the greater ease that a foreign war affords for massive money laundering than a mere piddly infrastructure project might garner.

And after having lived through the hatred toward us manifested by our "leaders" from 2020-2023, I am convinced - to my bones - that we are targeted for culling, by any means necessary.

When "some" say that by a certain date the people will own nothing and be happy, believe what they say: it is their intention to impose such a condition on us. Ergo, what we live through now is but a foretaste -- don't we all know that??

That all is one side of the coin. The other side of the coin is The Distant Triumph Song.

Just be sure to pay attention to the signs. When the music stops you do want to be on the triumphant side of the coin.

The end of most past empires has been the cost of war, the rise of taxation to pay for them, and corruption, as you mentioned. Unfortunately, we are nearing that end and will join the trash heap of past empires. Mr Trump will slow it down, but there is no way to clean this mess. I won't spend too much time because you may not be interested, but Martin Armstrong's model, which has been highly accurate for forty years, says this is the last actual election and that the world war will be inevitable by 2027 or sooner. The US will split up in pieces, and the world's financial capital will move to Asia. Many people I have explained above usually balked, but lately, they have started to listen. In 2011, he identified the cycle of war as beginning in 2014 and marked Ukraine as the likely spot that started it. If interested, he has a free blog and email service at Armstrong Economics.

Good afternoon everyone. Our neighbors - I’m speaking as far as Tenn, NC, as close as Asheville. In most places I’ve lived churches have banded together to help these folks. Especially the mountains. I don’t have any money but I have blankets, towels, clothes, home supplies, flashlights. It’s very inhumane on how some of this is being approached by the “ authorities” . It’s really hard to trust anything the legacy media is reporting how this is being approached. Is there

any effort on this project? While I’m disabled I can still put needs together if some entities are trying to help. Thoughts?

FEMA by law is only authorized to give out money. They have NO AUTHORITY BY LAW to Do or STOP any recovery operations! FEMA must be disbanned! Congressman Tim Burchette of TN said that FEMA is funded 40 BILLION dollars. He also states that FEMA still has 7 BILLION dollars available for hurricane relief right now! Myorkis lied to the US population when he said there are no funds available for Hurricane Milton if congress does not come back in and give them more money! A week ago Congress just gave FEMA another 600 million in their final CR of the year! FEMA just gave 240 million to Lebannon the country last week for "humanitarian crisis." The White House press sec. in 2021 stated that FEMA was giving to NGO's hundreds of millions for the immigrant crisis at the border for food, housing, transportation! That is where the 40 Billion is going! Have we had ENOUGH YET?!?!?!

Great interview with James Patrick about a disaster literally near and dear to my heart being from this area my entire life. We were thankfully out of the line of the direct catastrophe, but our family only lostpower/water for 4 days and 2 cars flattened by wind thrown trees. So we are lucky.

I have a full page of comments but will try to be brief.

I did take offense at the obviously urban Patrick somewhat dismissively calling everyone outside of Asheville as "hillbillies". The Asheville losses are awful also. But the young people in the artsy districts seem to be experiencing power outages, flooding and inconvenience for the first time ever. No GPS! No internet or cell service! No gas! Oh the inconvenience! They were surrounded by others and usually within walking distance of some sort of help. Many rent and did not even lose their homes, though of course so much destruction there too. I feel and have tried to help urban and rural peiple affected. Of course that situation is more dangerous in some ways in urban areas as society breaks down.

Lumping everyone up in the mountains together- retirees, vacationers, second mountain home folk and lifelong residents of these harsh mountains is ridiculous.

I would put it this way- those lifelong residents have MUCH better survival skills and understanding of the dangers of falling trees and flash floods from heavy rains up mountain "hollers" than any from the Asheville art scene. Give me a good man with a chainsaw and practical skills any day in a disaster. God bless the Mountain Mule Teams, Cajun Navy, Redneck Airforce, Samaritans Purse and every local (and regional) church who stepped up immediately. And every neighbor up every holler, who risked their own safety to check on vulnerable neighbors. and Elon Musk for getting Starlink places are far and wide as possible within days.

Everyone was horribly affected but in different ways. Even Floridians do not understand that 20" of rain in flat sandy areas is uncomfortable and very inconvenient and potentially deadly BUT 20" of rain in steep mountains concentrates that rain from the entire watershed into a flood of unimaginable deadly and sudden proportions. Completely different challenges. When these tiny windy mtn roads are washed out, they are literally cut off from everyone. Asheville is accessible. Mountainous areas not so much. Without the roads, no power, no water (most have wells) no aid. It took days for locals with knowledge of their terrain and backroads to even reach some of their more remote neighbors. So I very much agree that rebuilding roads as fast as possible is utmost importance- once the search and rescue and recovery phase is over (which It is now).

Okay, I need to shorten my rant. I have heard that Black hawk crew has been disciplined and forbidden to make any more flights? Identified I think as NC National Guard? But not sure.- please correct me It was awful to see the videos.

I have heard urban dwellers amazed some locals refuse to leave their devastate farms, chosing to stay with no power, water, cell. MANY have livestock, cows, chickens, horses, mules, dogs and cats. And everything they know and love- hard to leave and deadly for their animals if they leave.

In closing also- yes there is mistrust for any number of reasons- just the past 4 years has shattered many peoples trust in basically anything "from the government". BUT in this area historically, way back to the times of the revenuers, much mistrust. I have been told (and I believe it) 3 revenuers rest under a dynamited bluff on our property. So the distrust is reactivated now. Maybe misguided, but maybe not.

Thank you both for this interesting interview. Horrifying that even the emergency signals were activated almost as an afterthought. Hurricanes DO reach this area every so often (though not often to this level and scope) and usually there are more victims from these flash flood and downed tree areas mountains than the coastal areas which got the direct hit.

NOT the same topic but a really frightening read that does somehow apply- Read the older book "One Second After" by Forstchen. It takes place around Asheville and Montreat and Black Mountain. An EMP is detonated, not flooding and hurricane, but the breakdown of society happens in a very similar manner, and the rise of leaders.

Who needs criminal illegal aliens to wreak havoc on our citizens when we have FEMA and complicit geoengineers to do the job for them?

Expand full comment

The reaction of FEMA is bizarre. This is what they exist for. They don’t show up and when they do they are in the way!

Whoever is in charge is lying low. No one from the President on down is leading the charge.

The Administration talks about rebuilding Ukraine of all things and as John points out Lahaina and East Palestine are not their problem. We don’t do cleaning up or necessary infrastructure. Maybe it’s time to shut FEMA down. This is disgusting. What kind of country are we? I think we as a nation have become insensitive, inhuman and wicked. We can only bomb, kill and support those that do with near unanimous support from our Congress and Executive Department. When disasters occur, how one responds is a true measure of a people. We have failed monstrously. This must be fixed. The Republic can’t stand unless this stops and quick.

I heard the land was for Lithium mining and that's whey it was geo engineered into disaster! So is this a 'natural' disaster or a (geo) engineered one?

Expand full comment

They have the ability to add enhancements to the natural process occuring, thus boosting it to make it stronger. Katrina was enhanced, I saw the radar video. Right now the sunspot cycle and planetary alignment is adding huge enhancements to the storm, along with what ever they are doing with steering or adding materials to the clouds.
