All, many thanks for your kind words. The government appointment process involves background checks, financial disclosures, testing, interviewing, security clearance, and for high-level positions US senate confirmation. All of this is to be sure candidates meet ethical, legal, and professional standards and will stand up to public and media scrutiny. If chosen, many will have to make divestment decisions on their current activities. Meritorious candidates do not publicly lobby for themselves or try to influence the process in their favor during the candidate selection period. I remain humbled with your messages of support.

If Dr. McCullough were made the head of HHS and working with RFK Jr. would make a huge contribution. If they don't nominate RFK Jr. for HHS they must nominate someone who is on the same page as RFK Jr. No one fits that bill better than Dr. McCullough.

I would vote without a doubt for Dr Peter McCullough-- a medical physician who loves his nation and the people and is a true 'doctor' in the real sense of the word as he puts the life of his patient first...

.. Absolutely Dr. McCullough is the right choice... pls send this to President Trump

I totally agree with Dr. Peter McCullough as the right choice! I have been following him since the beginning of Covid in 2020 and he is a a man with integrity, who has a love for medicine, his patients, education and the truth. He faced the medical establishment like a warrior! He is highly published, surrounded by a family of doctors who care about humanity and stand up for us and fight to protect and keep us safe and alive. He the leader Donald Trump needs beside him - highly respected and appreciated a man we all love, admire, care for and support

DR. PETER MCCULLOUGH!

Dr. Robert Malone has a good take on why as well.

The group that Trump has set in motion to provide best ever choice.

Absolutely making "darn sure" the choose the right one the first time with unstoppable firmness

It was one of the forces to insure Trump massive success in his blueprints to MAGA.

"I've got a good feeling about this."

The below link is from @MarkHalperin, but it’s not been confirmed. I wasn’t too sure of what role the HHS played, but it seems that it would make sense for RFK, Jr. to be the Director. He’s already said 600 people should pack their bags at the FDA when P47 gets into office, so does that mean he would have to be Director of HHS for that to happen? I don’t know.

I’m so pleased with the people P45 has chosen: Tulsi for DNI Director; John Radcliffe to head the CIA, Matt Gaetz for U.S. AG; (He’s one of the few I like on The Hill - no corporate lobbyist money, sharp, competent. He will be perfect for this job); Pete Hegseth for Secretary of Defense (no better person or more loyal person to the military, our vets; I’ve always liked him; he will clean house); and the list goes on. So far, I’m pleased.

I don’t like Elise Stefanik, but we got her seat on The Hill, and remember what he did to Nikki Hailey. I don’t like Marco Rubio either, establishment politician, but we got his seat in FL. I believe Dr. Ben Carson probably doesn’t want that HHS job at this point in his life. (I’m sure Director of HUD was no picnic.). He’s best suited for National Faith Director.

We can rest assured that P45, a master negotiator, is wheeling and dealing like he always does.

Dr. McCullough,

I would love to see you take a leading role in our nation’s medical leadership at the highest level. You have lead our country and the world through a very dark period as the courageous and compassionate voice of medical science and reason. Thank you for all you have done for us and I hope you will get the recognition you so deserve.

I hope your name will come to the attention of RFK Jr and the Trump Administration for a role in US medical leadership.

Sincerely,

Marybeth Canning

While I have tremendous respect for Dr. McCullough for his work with COVID and how he has had to defend his medical license and board certifications, there are other areas of health issues that I believe Dr. McCullough falls short on. I’m still waiting for him to debate someone regarding the use of statins which he is a proponent of. He could still serve an advisory role. We need someone who can tackle a broad range of health issues.

Agree. Dr. M is on top of things Covid related, but is still too loyal to the medical tribe, as evidenced by his recent post on fluoridation. Happily, his colleague steered him in the right direction with a guest post a couple of days later, but still, his willingness to act as an "influencer" on a topic in which he was ignorant was alarming.

For the record, the science is clear that fluoride in water is like lead or arsenic in water. The goal (MCLG) should be zero. Actionable thresholds for removal (MCL) are a compromise between the goal and what is practical, but should be no higher than 1 ppm. The secondary maximum contaminant level (SMCL) which requires a warning to consumers should be set at 0.3 ppm.

BTW: Cholesterol is the liver's attempt to counteract fluoride toxicity.

I’m surprised you would accuse him of being loyal to his medical tribe when it’s clear the majority of them dropped him like a hot rock when he came out against the jab and treatment of COVID. We all know how difficult it is when we’re under fire on a constant basis and so does he, so why be so harsh? When you disparage him on his post re fluoride, what is it that you think he has to gain? He risked his reputation, his career and has paid a great price for being loyal to his Hippocratic oath, and I can’t imagine why a post that caused so much debate and further information to be posted re fluoride would cause such vicious attacks.

It should never be a problem to hear different views on a subject. You never get all of the facts by hearing only one side. If we disagree with anything he says, let’s debate it, but let’s not rule out all of the good things he’s done, like saving lives.

Allie, I really doubt at this point that he wants to serve in the Administration. I could be wrong. I think he knows he can accomplish more treating patients with life-threatening and non-life-threatening medical issues where he is, and I think it’s important he keeps his certifications and license so he can do that, but he has proven that he cares about saving lives. There will be more debate on statins to come - I’m sure of it - and people can choose to do what’s best for them.
