Hi Peter!

I took one shot, and have been fasting regularly since then, in the hope of clearing myself of spike proteins. Last summer I did a seven day water fast! Then I kept doing intermittent fasting - fasting for two days a week for about 12 hours. In the fall I began to feel really awful. I couldn't sleep. I felt so insecure. I felt worried all the time. I felt anxiety. I started forgetting a lot of important stuff(perhaps because I couldn't sleep), I couldn't concentrate ( because of sleep deprivation again I think). I got in trouble at work because of this. A friend of mine suggested maybe I was in menopause and had an hormonal disturbance? I contacted a specialist and she prescribed bio identical progesteron. And finally I started sleeping again. I felt secure, safe, in harmony. But I cannot take it all the time. I take it for 10 days per month. And I started noticing - if I fasted, I felt insecure and worried again. Then I read somewhere: if women fast and their body cannot take it, it can lead to their progesteron levels dropping dramatically... So, a heads up to the women. I don't know what do do now... I want to fast, but I also want my progesteron levels to be ok.

You might want to consider time-restricted eating vs. fasting. It involves eating all your daily calories in a relatively short time window (say, between 9am and 3pm, or 12noon and 6pm), and fasting the remaining 18 hours of the day (around half of which will be sleep time). There are variations on this approach - you can do a search and find lots of info.

Actually, when I think about it I fast for 12 hours most workdays, because I do not eat breakfast. And the two days that I have been fasting I actually fasted for 19 hours. Maybe I should start eating breakfast three days a week, and keep the two 19 hours fasting days? And never waterfast for a whole week again...

How long is the protocol supposed to be followed for? Natto/Bromelain/Curcumin? I take Lions Mane supplement for cognitive reasons (menopause and ADHD). I can’t find any info if they are ok to take together. I was taking them together for around 6 months, but stopped (still take the Lions Mane) as was feeling weird. Not sure if related to the protocol or not.
