Another week, another array of strange, surprising, and perplexing events in our world that often seems bereft of prudent adult leadership. With each episode of the HOT ZONE, we endeavor to expose and analyze the hurly-burly with cool heads.
After our conversation, I found myself wondering if we are currently living in an exceptionally crazy period, afflicted with exceptionally bad politicians. Though often harsh and verging on cynical, Mencken’s remarks remind us that there is nothing new under the sun.
